VY•DA make their debut on Gemstone Records with an emotional house record titled ‘In the Dark’ featuring vocalist Able Faces. The track takes listeners on a dark journey while preserving danceable ingredients by featuring gritty basslines and atmospheric synths. 

‘In the Dark’ begins with airy pads supported by a droning sub bass and delicate bells. House drums later join the breakdown along with a grittier bassline that builds tension through the buildup. Heavier analog-inspired bass notes are highlighted in the drop while Able Faces sings an emotional vocal hook on top.

VY•DA is a DJ/producer duo with previous releases on labels such as Armada, Protocol Recordings, and 2Dutch.  Their tracks have been supported by industry legends like Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, and Don Diablo.

“Living daydreams in melodies” is a mission statement that has encapsulated all that has come to be what VY•DA are. So, anyone hearing their latest release ‘Madness World’ in collaboration with Swiss Producer/DJ Krister will understand that this is a single born out of pure dedication and passion for the beauty of electronic music.

The vision of VY•DA has long been to appear on the scene’s biggest and best labels and as their artisitic momentum continues to flourish their goals are progressively being achieved along the way. With releases already on imprints from Armada Music to Protocol Recordings, and now an arrival on to the popular Smash Deep label, this current chapter in the book of VY•DA looks to be one of their most exciting yet!

Inspired by artists such as Tiësto and Don Diablo, Krister (one half of Krister & Savalla) has been producing since 2016 and honing his skills ever since whilst continuing to rise up the scene and onto the radar of bigger known artists such as EDX and current World No.1 DJ’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

VY•DA & Krister ‘Madness World’ is out on Smash Deep 2nd October.
