I'm very excited to share the fifth and final mix in a very special project for the summer of 2022: 75 Shadows, my tribute to one of the most important labels in electronic music history ... Moving Shadow!

This is slightly delayed due to travel and an injury, but the concept was that over a five week period I will be releasing a new 15 track Moving Shadow tribute mix weekly, each dedicated to a specific year from 1993 to 1997. I think that when you hear the whole series, you will be able to understand just what an amazing and creative label Moving Shadow was, as in the space of just five years they released everything from euphoric breakbeat hardcore to sinister darkcore to jungle anthems to rugged hardstep to smoothly atmospheric drum n' bass to fearsome techstep, and beyond.

The Irish dj/producer was a resident at Dublin's legendry Bassbin events and has released tracks on renowned labels such as Subtle Audio, Inperspective, Counter Intelligence, Breakin' and Make:shift.
A regular on the airways, he's been part of the Power FM since '98 and hosts his ''2ndrate Show'' on the station every 2 weeks as well as his ''Skeptic Tank'' sessions which air on Jungletrain every fortnight, the show has featured guest mixes from the likes of DgoHn, Profane and Frankie Gunns to name a few!

Bringing a little twist to his mix with most of the tracks coming from DgoHn's Undesignated Proximate & Undesignated Remixes albums, expect drums, drums and more drums in this selection!

Let's meet our dj for episode 488, Asymmetric:

I was born in small town near Saint-Petersburg.
Since childhood I was interested in music as a listener. I spent all my pocket money on CD's and audio cassettes.
I liked to listen to IDM, hip-hop, soulful, atmospheric drum and bass, jungle, drumfunk, funk, jazz and disco music. 
When I was 18 years old I started to make music and to buy vinyl. I am producing soulful drum and bass, jungle, drumfunk, footwork and jungle.
I have releases on some record labels: Respect, Opposide, Omni Music, Pinecone Moonshine, Danger Chamber Digital, Monochrome, Eastern Promise Audio, Jungletrain, Burelom, Anchorage Sound, Plush, Beyond Electronix ,Dynasty Shit, Digibeat and etc. From May 2013 to November 2018 I made with BreakZoff my show "Deep In The Program" at jungletrain.net.

Since May 2016 I started my own vinyl and digital record label Dissymmetrical Music.  Now the label includes: 1 cd, 30 digital and 6 vinyl releases. 31st digital is at work now.
