Lover is a recently established electronic music band made of two lithuanian producers - Pìjus and Fiorini. They rely on mixing two sound aestethics - live, jazzy sound and punchy electronic elements, which leads to contrasting and powerful musical journey.

"Ragana" is their debut single, containing lyrics about lithuanian folk myth - the witch. This track combines the mystery of lithuania's woods and house base, so it can be used as a perfect dancefloor material.

6 E.P. III is the latest single to be taken from Headman’s 6 album, released last year on Relish.

Following on from 6 EPI and 6 EPII (who'd'a guessed it...) 6 EP lll is coming as a full digital release, along with 200 12" copies housed in specially screen printed artwork from Headman. The release has 3 remixes by Manfredas, Alejandro Paz, Shift Work and a couple of extra re-works/ dubs from Headman.

For our premier we've gone with the Manfredas mix of WORK, and we've gone with it because it's a demented piece of post punk genius that rifles through the pockets of Fad Gadget's chilling corpse whilst sucking on a clockwork cigar. It sounds like the music for nightclubs that only scary people and the wrong kind of drug buckets frequent, and is probably one of the best things we've heard all year. We're sure you'll agree.

Lithuanian bandit and current Multi Culti tour poster boy Manfredas (who delayed the package by 3 months + some) weighs in with an incredibly dope, hook-filled revision. Worth the wait for his weight in cult gold.  
This is the final remix on the package due to hit the digital shelves in a couple of weeks, followed by the vinyl which is making its way through the presses at the factory as we type this message.

Mateo Gonzales. In Mexico, even children know his name. One of the most versatile Latin American producers, known for his monikers Bufi, Theus Mago and Sonido Phantasma, one of the co-founders of Duro Label, he released a huge amount of music on such labels as Electrique Music, Kitsune, Discotexas, Platino, My Favorite Robot, Turbo Records etc, he is one of the pioneers of the Mexican modern electronic scene.
This is not his first collaboration with Los Angeles  producer Missy Livingston aka Moderna (known for her work with Ghostly International), at the beginning of last year they recorded together a powerful EP on Chloe's Kill The DJ.

This time they are released on another French, Marseille's label La Dame Noir. The new EP includes 3 original mixes plus remixes from Sebastian Voigt and a remix from the Mateo Gonzalez himself under one of his monikers - Bufi, which we are happy to present to you today.
Moderna & Theus Mago - Tecno Misogino (Bufi Remix) - a dancefloor-worthy groove monster, anchored by a funky, but menacing bassline with vocal cuts and a catchy guitar loop, rework that bringing original into a chugging, low slung
prowler with raw biker disco percussion. 
Yet again here La Dame Noir have served up a fresh modern dark disco package that packs real heat. Enjoy

The shiny lights illuminated the forecourt. The bright glow of the neon was piercing in the dense desert outback. As a chain store the manager had very little say about the saturated decor on display to the customers. Not his brand, not his problem. It was easier that way, disconnected and loosely affiliated he was able to keep a low profile. One day the shop had been robbed, his response had not been one of desperate fear or strife but of blissful content. He had the next day off....

Uncanny Valley are set to release on London based record label and party series SC&P. Good friends of Ransom Note the label has continued to move from strength to strength.

Leon Thomas - Song For My Father (Middle Sky Boom Edit)

Night Noise prides itself on giving a platform to new artists with fascinating and left of center sounds, and Middle Sky Boom is exactly that. The opener ‘Souvenirs’ is a fantastic brew of jumbled drums and tripped out synths. They step up through the scale and will send hands skyward as freaky vocals and layers of filter add kaleidoscopic colour to the grooves.

Move To The Beat (Edit)

The village was quaint, the narrow cobbled streets lined with picture postcard houses decorated with colourful flowers. The sun beamed down and flocks of birds chirped in harmony. But there were no voices to be heard. No whispered conversations across the garden fence or kids playing in the front yard. Despite its beauty it felt eerie. Haunting almost. It was too quiet. Were they the only people here?

Kompakt affiliate Jörg Burger returns to the label for his second Velvet Desert Music compilation. In a similar fashion to the first outing he explores an open-minded aesthetic influenced by the interests that have preoccupied his own productions over the last few decades; sweeping tones and melodies, cinèma pour l’oreille (cinema for the ear) and textural abstraction, to name but a few. The compilation features contributions from Jörg as part of The Velvet Circle and Gen Pop, and the likes of Fantastic Twins, Sascha Funke, Michael Mayer and our pick, the psychedelic rhythms and French vocals of The Golden Bug and The Liminanas.
