A hookah (Hindustani: حقّہ (Nastaleeq), हुक़्क़ा (Devanagari),also ,shisha or waterpipe is a single- or multi-stemmed instrument for heating or vaporizing and then smoking either tobacco, flavored tobacco (often muʽassel), or sometimes cannabis, hashish, and opium.The smoke is passed through a water basin—often glass-based—before inhalation.The hookah or waterpipe was invented by Abul-Fath Gilani, a Persian physician of Akbar,in the Indian city of Fatehpur Sikri during Mughal India.The hookah spread from the Indian subcontinent to Persia first, where the mechanism was modified to itscurrent shape, and then to the Near East. Alternatively, it could have originated in the Safavid dynasty of Persia,from where it eventually spread to the Indian subcontinent.Despite tobacco and drug use being considered a taboo when the hookah was first conceived, its use became increasingly popular among nobility and subsequently widely accepted.Gradually, burned tobacco has been commonly replaced by vaporizing flavored shisha. Still the original hookah is often used in rural South Asia, which continues to use Tumbak
(a pure and coarse form of unflavored tobacco leaves) and smoked by burning it directly with charcoal. While this method delivers a much higher content of tobacco and nicotine, it also imposes more adverse health effects compared to vaporized shisha hookahs.[citation needed]The word hookah is a derivative of "huqqa", a Hindustani word, of Arabic origin(derived from 
حُقَّة ḥuqqa, "casket, bottle, water pipe"). Outside its native region, hookah smoking has gained popularity throughout the world, especially among younger people.

About this EP :
We are excited to present the latest release from the collaboration between
Dj Farrapo and Carlo Maver. This time, the single features the debut of Spanish
singer Clara Andrés, whose delicate and smooth vocals add a fresh touch to the
song. The unique melodies played by Carlo on the Colombian flute gaita give
the song a truly captivating sound to this smooth cumbia!
The release also includes two remixed versions, one by the Brazilian DJ Nirso,
who brings a Northeastern Brazilian Electro-Côco flair, the second remix is by
the Italian producer Ka:lu, who gives the song a tech-house twist.

➤ About this VA:
100 years ago the world lived in chaos. Huge wars between humans, as well as great advances in technology that changed forever the face of the world, a world that according to many artists, lived as a prisoner of the rational mind and that did not allow us humans to understand life and the Universe in its wide spectrum.

This is how, with its mystical origin in Dadaism, Surrealism was born. A movement that sought to explore and venture into the limits of the human mind through art. Initially literature, but also reaching the visual arts and so much more. Then decades later, the first psychedelic artists were born, much closer to music in its origins and who represented a rebellion against the established norms in the face of a world in chaos.

Today after 100 years, the scenario is complex again. There are wars, there is a technological revolution and the world is coming out of a great chaos caused by a virus that produced a great crisis. Can we perhaps learn something from the ideas of surrealism, to understand today's world?, remove ourselves from the entirely rational mind to which technology and the "information society" push us, to finally understand the world from an alternative perspective?

Making this compilation was a leap into the void, a mixture of psychic automatism and cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse) that ended with a very free, authentic and very fresh result, with the wonder of the unexpected, including very purely electronic songs, with ideas of techno and even psy trance, like other more tropical ones with psychedelic cumbia, of course others more pop and the others, those that are usually there in our music, the ones totally trippy.

We hope you enjoy this great compilation full of freedom and unusual ideas, which will help you connect with another world through music, rhythm and love, thank you eternally!

At the bottom of the mountain, she unwrapped her blanket and took out her knife, needle, rice bowl, bamboo piece, and jug of water. Then, trying to remember all of the goldfish’s instructions, she cracked off a small bit of stone and rubbed it up and down the needle 99 times before tossing it back to the ground. Then she filled her rice bowl halfway with water and let the bamboo float in it. After that, she picked up the needle and looked at the white rabbit on her bowl. “Okay,” she said to the jumping rabbit, “lead the way.” And she placed the needle onto the bamboo. Like magic, the needle spun around. She smiled. “Thank you,” she said again to the painted rabbit. “Now, I’ll follow where you want me to go!” She packed up her things and, carefully holding the bowl in her hand, walked in the direction of the needle, past Fruitless Mountain. “Goodbye, Jade Dragon,” she said as she left. “When I come back I will know how to make you happy again!” Chalanga show the way to happiness with shapes in their hands. This is their first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks can wake the dragon from his sleep. Haris Kate, P A N and M@kossa are experts in geometry of passion.

Dear friends,

The „Love and Nature“ artists set off on new adventures and this time they have to face the catastrophic incidents in Australia.

Since September 2019 hundreds of bush fires have burnt over 6 million hectares of land. Scientists estimate that over 1 billion animals are affected. the reasons for the fires are versatile but the worst drought in Australias history and record high temperatures - up to 46 degrees - may be the main reasons. All this can be traced back to global warming but lots of politicians and huge parts of society still close their eyes. It is terrifying to see that every year announcements like this are rising and we are still not able to develop sustainable economic systems. Just embarrassing that country’s like Australia, Brazil or USA, which have to face natural catastrophes more than other countries, blocking important resolutions to stop the climate change. But also we have to take responsibility for our consumption behaviours to sent a signal to the economy.

Kollektiv.Liebe decided to donate all earnings of this release to „Wires“ which founded an Emergency Fund. It helps to rescue sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.
