This track was off my sixth album, *Buyer Beware*. The song is called "Scream" - mixed  by Norm Bowler. Basically it's about the difficulty of being heard, something with which most Indie artists can identify.

This song is based on a true story. It happened the year that the Eaton's Centre was built in Toronto. The song was on my 9th album *Blood Red Pop*.  I think what I had in mind was John 6, where Christ offended people by saying they had to drink his blood and eat his flesh. Even his disciples paused in their tracks over that utterance.

Just the Truth - on Christmas

This song was on my first album *Coming Soon to a Sky Near You* and re-recorded on *Heaven and Earth* - album 4. Despite the cheesy instruments, I've always been very happy with it.

Alone

This track was from my 3rd album *White unto Harvest*. It's a song about faith, looking to find Christ in the darkness and anticipating his return. Sounds heavy, but it has a lovely acoustic vibe. I remember that when I recorded it I had just purchased a new acoustic guitar which I loved and continue to cherish, actually.

Morning Star

My 11th album *Smoke and Mirrors* had a several songs that I very much like. Choosing just one was very hard. Thanks to my son, Joel, for making the choice for me. "The Satellite Song" is about our human capacity to quickly become inured to things that should inspire wonder – one of our sadder characteristics, I believe.

This is off my 12th album *Face the Music*. It's a wry tribute to the Marvel hero, Spiderman. I've always loved Spidey, who doesn't? Maybe Marvel will pick this up as a new theme song for him. :-)

My 15th album was the worst produced piece of junk I've created; all the songs are compressed so hard they cry. However, this track "A Touching Place" is worth hearing. Sometimes I've been asked how I know that there is a God; this song explains how: it's not intellectual, but experiential.

This album -- *This Year of GRACE* - was incredibly hard to represent by one track. There are at least 8 tracks or 17 that I think are worthy. However, "Gonna Sell Something to the Telephone Salesman" is the choice, because it's funny and well produced.

Just a rocker off my 13th album, *This Side of Heaven*. I always liked this track for its driving beat.

Little Black Horses

This was off my 18th album, *Perfect Love meets Absolute Need*. It consists of 25 songs, 24 of which are Bible verses set to music, with added thoughts. I like every track on this album, but this is my favourite.
