Bristol beatmaker hot shots The Allergies are well known across the world for their ability to dig through a crate, extract pure musical gold from the wax and rock a party like no other.

In one of our weekly yoga/wellbeing/group therapy/meditation workshop sessions here at the label it got us thinking what they could dig up if we opened up the Jalapeno vaults for them… Over 250 official releases with more funk than George Clinton’s dirty laundry, more soul than a sock with a hole and more dance than carnival time in Rio.

And so the brand new ‘Dig Jalapeno’ compilation series concept was born - unlimited artist access to the entire back catalogue for them to put together a killer set of tracks accompanied with a couple of new exclusives from them for good measure.

Needless to say the guys knocked it out of the park with their choices – a strong showing from their Bristol B-Boy crew - Boca45, Parker, The Beekeepers and of course some choice cuts from the likes of Soopasoul and Skeewiff. Throw in a never heard before track from themselves – ‘You Got Power’ and an exclusive new remix of their own 'Blast Off (feat. Andy Cooper)' and we’ve got ourselves a belter of a set.
