I listened to a track I did some years back called SCHNEIDER'S RIDE. Inspired after I'd read #MichaelHerr's incredible 'new journalism' book #DISPATCHES, written when he was embedded during the Vietnam War. 

One particular story he hears from the Marines is about a hill that they took, then lost, then took back etc as captured territory inched forward or backwards in the long, grueling land war of Vietnam, some months only taking a hundred yards or so...

Anyway... Marine Schneider finds a rusty old bicycle and his unit dares him to cycle down the hill they have taken, into no-man's land and up the opposing hill.... 

Schneider does it and makes it back... thus: Schneider's Ride

I wrote the track at home in NYC but recorded it, as a bonus, in Tokyo, when I was mixing RACINE 2 with #KILLBILL 'BATTLE WITHOUT HONOR OR HUMANITY' soundtrack legend and massive Rockstar in Japan, Korea and all over the world: Tomoyasu Hotei #TomoyasuHotei. He plays bass and guitar on it. 

A very great experience that trip was too! 

I absolutely love this song, it's timeless, very beautiful.

French producer Bruit Fantôme is known since 2012 for some beautiful records between sytnhwave and electronica released on Alpage Records. He's also known under his monikers Musique d'Ambiance and Transistor Galaxii. That new EP on Tripalium Records firstly existed as a title and an idea: "My next album will be called “Robert Smith” and it will be recorded and listened to on tape". However it was not about The Cure’s coldwave, nor “Futur Noir” or “Vestiges” synthwave, the previous Bruit Fantôme’s EP. There wasn’t, besides of that, any desire to produce an album in a specific style but simply let the track writing came as it was. The result is an EP with 7 dark electro tunes, somewhere between Drexciya, UR, Aphex Twin or Mariel Ito.

Decadence VR (the most important Italian fetish party for over 15 years) joined forces with Burning Man Festival to create the online "Multiverse" event, an interactive 3D digital multiplayer world powered by holographic, augmented and virtual reality. Other great projects such as Ash Code, Blind Delon, Bestial Mouths, Pablo Bozzi, 89s† and many more performed at the event.
