But this new record also marks something different and more furious, as they decided to invite Wraath on vocals and Unhold on bass. Recorded during one intense day and night in Germany, this recording will surely leave a mark upon the devout as it did on its practitioners. Ever aptly titled, Temple of the Adversarial Fire is a bold and brazen reinvention for this Norwegian trio, fully in line with the band's spiritual beliefs. More than the cliché "phoenix rising from the flames," SHAARIMOTH have stripped down their aesthetic to its barest essentials, and then rebuilt them into an incendiary, black-smoke-billowing monolith of blackened death metal majesty. Rarely in the nowadays metal underground will one hear a death metal record this pure and reverential in its intent whilst being so suffused with the blackest of blood. A glorious new epoch has arrived, and SHAARIMOTH are ushering it in with Temple of the Adversarial Fire.
 
Formed in 2004 but tracing its origins back to 1998, SHAARIMOTH emerged from the then-barren Norwegian death metal underground, and along with it, so did new incantations of darkness, death, and destruction. Both dark and ecstatic, furious and violent, defying genres, but at the same time paying tribute to its predecessors of the black arts, SHAARIMOTH's goals were firm from the very beginning.
 
Building upon its unique take of technical Morbid Angel-esque death metal with dark ambient interludes and occult lyrical content, SHAARIMOTH is not music; it is ritual. A sonic vehicle of occult propaganda, created to manifest dark currents by the means of music, the trio worked in earnest on their first public recording. That record, the debut album named Current 11, was released in 2005 via Carnal Records, and dealt primarily with Chao-Gnosticism as approached through the prism of ancient Sumerian tradition. The album immediately became an underground cult, and the status was undoubtedly reinforced through years of worship.
 
Following the album's release, SHAARIMOTH withdrew from the public eye for many years, only to break the silence now. Hereby, the band announce its inexorable return and rebirth with Temple of Adversarial Fire! The time of the Fire is drawing nearer, and new bonds have been forged in its flames. WORLD TERROR COMMITTEE is the label chosen by SHAARIMOTH to collaborate in the release of their monumental second album, making sure that its incantations will resonate loud and clear, far and near.
 
Indeed, Temple of Adversarial Fire is a monument: 11 songs in 47 minutes that feel far more vast and expansive than this concise running time suggests. A work of unimaginable might, of enduring and unyielding spiritual will, Eleven Dragons is the sound of serious and thoroughly occult BLACK/DEATH metal given shape and successive flight. It is the many-splendored brilliance of eternal (and eternally damning) illumination, spread across 11 hymns in an engrossing 'n' engaging 67 minutes. It is the promise - and subsequent sonic manifestation, at their respective times of study - of ACRIMONIOUS' celebrated first two albums taken yet further into the hungry, ever-beckoning void. It is METAL, hailing the mysteries of death and draped in the blackest of shadows, unfurled full fathom across the ecstasy of sin and Satan. It is verily Eleven Dragons, at the threshold of The Beyond.

The volcanic eruption that churned ACRIMONIOUS out of the depths commenced in 2002. It was during a period that the underground was receiving an injection of creativity again after a long period of stagnation and aimless exploration, which had led to the dilution of the adversarial Light with elements hostile to the eyes of the Destroyer, within the extreme metal scene, which was hungry for madness and danger again.

Beginning the journey as a homage to the ancient and morbid ways of the '80s and '90s Satanic metal, the many-tentacled abomination of ACRIMONIOUS was nourished by the prana of old Samael, Sarcofago, old Mayhem, Tormentor, Nifelheim, and Dissection amongst others, while simultaneously sharpening the blades and perfecting the skills of the craft. It would later on manifest the Perdition Gospel mini-album, its first concrete attempt to glorify at the temple of Satan. Then the Broken Bonds of Balance 7" EP followed the next year. By that time, a change in members was necessary and inevitable a step, as Funus and Nuctemeron left the band, leaving only Cain Letifer as the sole member to contemplate upon the monuments of the trinity of Lucifer, Lilith, and Cain, thus giving birth to the first full-length album, Purulence.

Even though the band had deliberately kept a very low profile during the years, the Beast was fanning the flames constantly in the shadows, aiming at a reconstruction of identity which would lead further into the Abyss of formlessness, darkness, and uncertainty through majestic Art. So it happened that, in the year 2011, Semjaza of THY DARKENED SHADE entered the ranks of ACRIMONIOUS as a second guitar-player and bassist, and also the addition of C.Docre on drums. Thus, the band proceeded to record the second full-length album, which was released at the end of 2012 under the name of Sunyata.

Many moons passed and many sparks illumined the midnight sky, by the striking of the hammer of will on the anvil of tribulation. Much blood watered the fertile soil that led to the crucifixion of matter with Spirit, and so it came to pass that the third sonic invocation was conceived, namely Eleven Dragons, glorifying the forces that bring All back into the primordial nothingness. ACRIMONIOUS is honored to announce its collaboration with WORLD TERROR COMMITTEE for the release of the third horror of nameless Void on CD and LP. This is the pinnacle of Glory and Thunderous Power, the crowning achievement, an echo of ecstatic laughter in a backward dance of malicious Fury that venerates the Eleven Flames of the One without Names. A work of timeless black metal traditionalism given flight by flawless songwriting and emotive execution, Baptised into the Faith of Lust is THE album where ENTARTUNG ascend the throne and rule over all they survey, in a kingdom where the genre's aesthetics have become dilluted by modernity (or worse) but one which will be righted by their righteous conviction.

ENTARTUNG was founded in 2011 by Lykormas and Vulfolaic. As veterans of the old-school black metal scene, they set out to make music true to the original vibe of the genre, void of commercialism and modern trends. The duo skipped the usual demo phase and independently wrote and recorded their debut album, Krypteia. ENTARTUNG immediately got signed by W.T.C.Productions, who released Krypteia in the spring of 2012 on compact disc.

One year later, ENTARTUNG started writing and recording their sophomore album. The internal tensions and conflicts that arose during this process were successfully channeled into violent and aggressive renditions of the actual material. Contrary to the previous album, which exclusively featured German lyrics, Peccata Mortalia predominantly focuses on English as the main language. Peccata Mortalia was again released by WORLD TERROR COMMITTEE in May 2014, this time on both compact disc and vinyl. Simultaneously, Krypteia also saw a vinyl release.

In late 2014, ENTARTUNG was invited to play an exclusive show at the 2015 edition of the Veneration of the Dead festival in the Netherlands. For the purpose of this festival, ENTARTUNG recruited skinsman Haistulf and started working on a set consisting of both Krypteia and Peccata Mortalia material.

Continuing as a three-piece, ENTARTUNG then recorded their third album, Baptised into the Faith of Lust, throughout the winter of 2015-2016. The new compositions build further upon the style which was established on both Krypteia and Peccata Mortalia and successfully push the boundaries of the genre, focusing on both feel and detail as well as atmosphere and aggression. Lyrically, Baptised into the Faith of Lust explores the more obscure side of history, religious mass delusions, and the writings of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Selma Lagerlöf, Charles Baudelaire, and Hermann Löns.

Baptised into the Faith of Lust was mixed by ENTARTUNG and was subsequently mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony. Once again, the band entrusts WORLD TERROR COMMITTEE with the release of third ENTARTUNG opus, both on compact disc and vinyl. Ever aptly titled, Herzogian Darkness is a shadowy plunge into strange, shapeshifting depths. It is recognizably black metal by sound and vision - and, more or less, by name - but the febrile sensations these mysterious Poles emit elude safe 'n' staid categorization. Not for nothing do MEDICO PESTE here transform Bauhaus' classic "Stigmata Martyr" into one of their own, idiosyncratic creations.

MEDICO PESTE's history goes back to the winter of 2010, when they formed in Krakow, Poland. A demo followed the next year before their debut album, א: Tremendum et Fascinatio, in 2012. There, MEDICO PESTE portrayed a vision of black metal which incorporates dark and oppressive atmospheres, created through dysharmonic riffing, eerie vocals, and a taste for insanity and the macabre. And yet, the band's sound is always evolving, and while strongly rooted in traditional black metal, MEDICO PESTE inject elements of non-metal genres into their music, vividly painted across their brand-new Herzogian Darkness. Four songs in 27 minutes, these grim, crazed rituals are the newest face to a mask that is cracked but always spinning sinister thoughts, leering with the knowingness that the future's wide open yet infinitely bleak - that a Herzogian Darkness is on the horizon.

HORNA should need no introduction. For over 20 years now, the Finnish black metal institution - founded by uber-prolific guitarist/songwriter Shatraug (SARGEIST, Behexen, et al) - have built a vast, virulent body of work beyond compare. Hailing the ancient ways, HORNA have always honored the underground with myriad EP and split releases. In the interim since their last album for W.T.C. PRODUCTIONS, 2013's critically acclaimed Askel lähempänä Saatanaa, the quintet have released two splits, with Den Saakaldte and Demonic Christ, and now arrives their highly anticipated ninth album, Hengen Tulet.

Their first album for W.T.C., Askel lähempänä Saatanaa served as a unique turning point in the HORNA canon. Not only was there a five-year gap between albums - almost an eternity in HORNA terms, considering their restless release schedule - but it was the first album to feature vocalist Spellgoth following the departure of longtime frontman Corvus. Although new to the HORNA camp, Spellgoth is a scene veteran, numbering Darkwoods My Betrothed, Black Death Ritual, and Prevalent Resistance among his resume, as well as classic session vocals for Baptism's Morbid Wings of Sathanas. With his arrival brought both a new and renewed focus to HORNA: Askel lähempänä Saatanaa brimmed with the ancient mysticism of the band's earliest work, and yet revealing new nightside shapes.

Now, with Hengen Tulet, HORNA continue to refine that approach, and yet bring back in the filthier textures of the Corvus years. Both sonicaly and songwriting-wise, Askel lähempänä Saatanaa was something of a throwback to mid '90s black metal classicism. By contrast, Hengen Tulet carries forward a similar songwriting aesthetic - surging 'n' swooshing speed, spiraling melody both majestic and malevolent - but reinvigorates a foul, fetid primitivism. It's still a supremely varied yet focused spin, compact (and caustic) as ever, but the headbanging, hard-charging tropes are surely a sign of HORNA's well-oiled machinery lately on the live front, where Spellgoth has cultivated no small amount of infamy for his penetrating performances.

The third glorious epoch of HORNA continues with Hengen Tulet, and yet further live assaults are planned for the rest of the year and next.

Barshasketh Biography

BARSHASKETH was formed in 2007 as a solo-project by Krigeist with the intention of creating pure black metal, intentionally free of genre cross-pollination: second-wave blasphemy re-imagined and reinterpreted through extensive use of layering and counterpoint. After two well-received demos via Wolfsvuur Records, the debut album Defying the Bonds of Cosmic Thralldom emerged in 2010. Following the release of the first full-length, Krigeist relocated to Scotland after travelling through southeast Asia. After settling there, he went about piecing together a live lineup, and a series of live performances followed, culminating with a show in support of Negative Plane. Out of this live lineup, GM (guitars and vocals) was made a permanent member and BH was recruited on drums. This trio recorded the second full-length, Sitra Achra, released in 2013 through Todestrieb Records. After recruiting bassist BB on bass, the lineup was complete, and BARSHASKETH recorded two split EPs in quick succession. The band went on to record a third full-length, Ophidian Henosis, at the infamous Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm. This most recent full-length undoubtedly presents the band’s finest work to date and showcases a new level of musical and lyrical maturity. Extolling an adversarial spirituality, these seven hymns of darkness evangelize the impure and the obscene.

At long last, Norwegian black metal vanguard TORTORUM return with Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. It's been two years since the release of the band's critically acclaimed second album, Katabasis, and in that time, ubiquitous drummer Dirge Rep has amicably departed TORTORUM's ranks. Bloodied but unbowed, the trio saw fit to record an all-new mini-album, bearing the ominous title Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. This title is prescient, and wholly descriptive of the six-track record's contents. Moving at a slower, more methodical pace, Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. stomps forward with a hideous energy that literally feels DEAD. Like a reanimated corpse or malignant specter, the TORTORUM of Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. has turned a new and no-less-harrowing page here, largely leaving behind the orthodox speed of their massive first two albums and striking upon largely unexplored terrain where space and shade are blackened to a crisp and are patiently pushed forward with a palatable sense of maturity. Then again, the fire of old does occasionally ignite across the mini-album's six, comparably more stretched-out tracks, suggesting that the future is wide open for this equally surprising/dependable band. And like always, TORTORUM are no strangers to the stage, and will soon be defiling them across Europe with a sound that's truly Rotten. Dead. Forgotten.

Since the ancient year of 1995, PARIA have been a study in staunch defiance and unparalleled filth. Their late '90s era was spent brewing disgusting demos in secret, and then during the early 2000s, a handful of official demos emerged from PARIA's dungeon, perhaps best characterized by the 2007 compilation title Paria über alles - 11 Years of Blood, Cum & Satan. Two full-lengths would be released, 2008's VerminRace and 2010's Unchain the Unclean, before the band's breakout album, 2013's Surrealist Satanist. Released by W.T.C. to international acclaim, Surrealist Satanist was the culmination of nearly 20 years of mounting mental instability and restless demons knocking on their door: PARIA had finally arrived, exploding with dizzying disease and roiling chaos, and yet somehow wrangled it all into palpable but no-less-bent shapes with frightening finesse. 

Alas, PARIA have returned to build further on that monument - or bury it under garbage and gangrene - with Knochenkamp. A fountain of filth and fury, cutting and concise whilst exuding a substantial totality at 28 minutes, Knochenkamp is PARIA at their most untamed and unbound: untamed in how bloody spiraling and dangerously caustic their attack has become, and unbound in that they pay little to no mind what's been committed to tradition under the banner of "black metal." Over the course of four songs and intro, the quartet weave bewitching spells of black metal classicism that soon split apart at the seams and become consumed by a ravenous insanity that literally feels dangerous - there's no faking this sort of instability. And yet, their songwriting acumen is at peak performance, as Knochenkamp's component parts are ones that go places, beckoning the listener ever onward, teasing with morbid repose before whipping forth into a abyss-ward tornado of utter disgust and bitter, black hatred. Through it all, PARIA remain gleefully possessed, almost taunting that listener with demonic delight. Will you have the spiritual/physical fortitude for Knochenkamp?

W.T.C. PRODUCTIONS & DARK ADVERSARY PRODUCTIONS are proud to present the long-awaited third album of long-running black metal cult CRIMSON MOON, Oneironaut. CRIMSON MOON was established in 1994 by Scorpios Androctonus - known also for his work with Acherontas, Zemial, Demoncy, Melechesh, and Akrabu among others - as a solo project in the U.S. and relocated to Germany in 1998.

After working with different members throughout the years, 2016 reveals the long-awaited third full-length release titled Oneironaut. Four years in the making, this album has returned to the roots of the lineup and was written, performed, and recorded once again entirely by Scorpios Androctonus with additional guest appearances by members of Acherontas, Demoncy, and Ralph Santolla (ex-Deicide, Death, Obituary) on select tracks.

The aura of Oneironaut is a familiar one to previous CRIMSON MOON releases in the spirit and atmosphere, both musically and lyrically. A definite progression is also introduced in song structure and strategic use of additional instruments, including exotic instruments such as the Esraj, Frame Drums, Tanpura, Cretan Lyra, fretless acoustic bass, and innovative uses of acoustic guitars among other stringed instruments and percussion. The music of Oneironaut executes a blend of mystical, dream-like atmospheres which morph from violent and aggressive black metal synonymous with the occult atmosphere. Lyrically, the topics vary from traditional Necronomicon-inspired myths, Sumerian lore, astral projection, and lucid dreaming to content that covers homage to the old goddesses of worship, survival of the fittest/breaking the myths of equality, and spiritual transcendence.

As of 2016, CRIMSON MOON has established a new and potent full lineup which will debut its first live appearance in October of 2016, which will be the first live performance from CRIMSON MOON in nearly a decade, and the first time to perform live on European soil. More select live shows will follow and are being booked for the remainder of the year and 2017.

The new CRIMSON MOON new lineup consists of:

Ever aptly titled, Temple of the Adversarial Fire is a bold and brazen reinvention for this Norwegian trio, fully in line with the band's spiritual beliefs. More than the cliché "phoenix rising from the flames," SHAARIMOTH have stripped down their aesthetic to its barest essentials, and then rebuilt them into an incendiary, black-smoke-billowing monolith of blackened death metal majesty. Rarely in the nowadays metal underground will one hear a death metal record this pure and reverential in its intent whilst being so suffused with the blackest of blood. A glorious new epoch has arrived, and SHAARIMOTH are ushering it in with Temple of the Adversarial Fire.
 
Formed in 2004 but tracing its origins back to 1998, SHAARIMOTH emerged from the then-barren Norwegian death metal underground, and along with it, so did new incantations of darkness, death, and destruction. Both dark and ecstatic, furious and violent, defying genres, but at the same time paying tribute to its predecessors of the black arts, SHAARIMOTH's goals were firm from the very beginning.
 
Building upon its unique take of technical Morbid Angel-esque death metal with dark ambient interludes and occult lyrical content, SHAARIMOTH is not music; it is ritual. A sonic vehicle of occult propaganda, created to manifest dark currents by the means of music, the trio worked in earnest on their first public recording. That record, the debut album named Current 11, was released in 2005 via Carnal Records, and dealt primarily with Chao-Gnosticism as approached through the prism of ancient Sumerian tradition. The album immediately became an underground cult, and the status was undoubtedly reinforced through years of worship.
 
Following the album's release, SHAARIMOTH withdrew from the public eye for many years, only to break the silence now. Hereby, the band announce its inexorable return and rebirth with Temple of Adversarial Fire! 

Indeed, Temple of Adversarial Fire is a monument: 11 songs in 47 minutes that feel far more vast and expansive than this concise running time suggests. Over that psychic/sonic terrain, the trio canvass a frightening, feral landscape that bridges the terrestrial and the Beyond. It is the blackest of death metal, rendered with the ceremony of a Roman Empire procession, cloaked in sulfur and reeking of brimstone. A work of unimaginable might, of enduring and unyielding spiritual will, Eleven Dragons is the sound of serious and thoroughly occult BLACK/DEATH metal given shape and successive flight. It is the many-splendored brilliance of eternal (and eternally damning) illumination, spread across 11 hymns in an engrossing 'n' engaging 67 minutes. It is the promise - and subsequent sonic manifestation, at their respective times of study - of ACRIMONIOUS' celebrated first two albums taken yet further into the hungry, ever-beckoning void. It is METAL, hailing the mysteries of death and draped in the blackest of shadows, unfurled full fathom across the ecstasy of sin and Satan. It is verily Eleven Dragons, at the threshold of The Beyond.

The volcanic eruption that churned ACRIMONIOUS out of the depths commenced in 2002. It was during a period that the underground was receiving an injection of creativity again after a long period of stagnation and aimless exploration, which had led to the dilution of the adversarial Light with elements hostile to the eyes of the Destroyer, within the extreme metal scene, which was hungry for madness and danger again.

Beginning the journey as a homage to the ancient and morbid ways of the '80s and '90s Satanic metal, the many-tentacled abomination of ACRIMONIOUS was nourished by the prana of old Samael, Sarcofago, old Mayhem, Tormentor, Nifelheim, and Dissection amongst others, while simultaneously sharpening the blades and perfecting the skills of the craft. It would later on manifest the Perdition Gospel mini-album, its first concrete attempt to glorify at the temple of Satan. Then the Broken Bonds of Balance 7"  EP followed the next year. By that time, a change in members was necessary and inevitable a step, as Funus and Nuctemeron left the band, leaving only Cain Letifer as the sole member to contemplate upon the monuments of the trinity of Lucifer, Lilith, and Cain, thus giving birth to the first full-length album, Purulence.

Even though the band had deliberately kept a very low profile during the years, the Beast was fanning the flames constantly in the shadows, aiming at a reconstruction of identity which would lead further into the Abyss of formlessness, darkness, and uncertainty through majestic Art. So it happened that, in the year 2011, Semjaza of THY DARKENED SHADE entered the ranks of ACRIMONIOUS as a second guitar-player and bassist, and also the addition of C.Docre on drums. Thus, the band proceeded to record the second full-length album, which was released at the end of 2012 under the name of Sunyata.

Many moons passed and many sparks illumined the midnight sky, by the striking of the hammer of will on the anvil of tribulation. Much blood watered the fertile soil that led to the crucifixion of matter with Spirit, and so it came to pass that the third sonic invocation was conceived, namely Eleven Dragons, glorifying the forces that bring All back into the primordial nothingness. ACRIMONIOUS is honored to announce its collaboration with WORLD TERROR COMMITTEE for the release of the third horror of nameless Void on CD and LP. This is the pinnacle of Glory and Thunderous Power, the crowning achievement, an echo of ecstatic laughter in a backward dance of malicious Fury that venerates the Eleven Flames of the One without Names.
