Figure It Out feat. Joe Waller

When Hedegaard's song "Need You Right Now" came out back in April, I searched for his management's email for hours so I could get a chance to remix this song. I finally got in touch with them, and they gave me the stems. I went through a couple of ideas, but I wanted this song to be a little bit more festival-worthy, like my remix of his song "Go Back." 

I spent a month and a half working on this remix and almost got it to where I was completely happy with it. I played it at a concert in Knoxville for a crowd for the first time, and people loved it. The next day, I left for to Europe for 2 months without my laptop. No music production at all. No releasing finished music. It felt like a part of me was missing. 

As soon as I got back to the US, this song was one of my top priorities. I changed a couple things, I added some others, I cleaned it up, but most importantly, I got to the point where I can say this song is something I am incredibly proud of.
