issu is a UK based producer and DJ with a deep love for dark, dance floor focused electro. He has been producing from a young age and is now emerging with his own unique take on the UK electro sound. Issu has a number of tracks coming soon on some of the most exciting labels in the electro scene, with his productions characterised by dark textures, sci-fi atmospheres, driving synth lines and frantic, club ready electro beats.

As well as having a fine ear for producing, Issu has been DJing for many years and co-runs a Bristol based night and collective, Dock34. His track selections often include dark, industrial electro but incorporate elements of techno and UK breakbeat.

In this spotlight, Issu takes you on a journey through a selection of his unreleased tracks, created and refined over the past few years.

Despite making his debut just a couple of years ago, @lloydstellar is already one of the men of the hour. The Dutch musician Erik Griffioen -the real name under the moniker- has proved to have his very own and authentic approach to electro music with releases on Bella Ursa, @crobotmuzik, or @gatedrecordings among others. His sound, obviously present in this podcast, is led by machine-like beats, melancholic pads, appealing vocoders, and a whole futuristic universe that talks about man’s greed, the conflictive relationship between humans and machines, and dazzling intergalactic battles. Valeriya Buturlya started her DJ career in 2015 as a fan of deep house, nu-disco, deep techno and tech house sounds.
The nickname Tendresse Rage, which she chose in French, means love for a combination of different styles, sounds, bright transitions between a delicate motive and a hard rhythm, and is literally translated as "tenderness-fury".
Valeria has been choreographing for 15 years - this period of her life reflects today's emotional power of music in sets. In 2018, Valeria finds herself in the field of electro-breakbeat styles, bringing her into a state of euphoria and deep exploration of new musical paths.
Thanks to this, compilations are born, which were released by such platforms as: Dark Science electro, Back side slice, Unusual Systems. Boris is a DJ & producer from Greece, based in Paris. An artist truly devoted to the original underground techno sound and culture, mostly influenced by early electro, synth wave, industrial, broken rhythms, FM synths and cinematic lo-fi distorted and absurd soundscapes. After spending many years in the UK and Serbia he got involved with collecting records, making tracks, exploring sounds from various sources and field recordings, strongly bonded with a unique vision and character regarding true expression through music in a greater spectrum.
