These last few months have been really hectic. My father passed away, I became sick, and just 2 weeks ago our son was born. Quite the rollercoaster.

Somewhere in between i saw myself in my studio making a track. Just to get my mind on something else. Somewhere else. 

An album which has been of great comfort and inspiration these last few years is Aril Brikha's "Deeparture In Time". The depth and atmosphere of this album is still very much unparalleled, even though it's 15 years old. 

On this album there is this track, sorry don't know the name, which to me is the perfect hybrid of electro and (detroit) techno. Electro rhythms combined with the deep Brikha-ish sounds. I can play this over and over again. 

Somewhat inspired by this track I started "Sleek".  But I can not get it to finish.

For the last week now, I have tried to take this track to the next level. To get something to happen at 2/3 of the track. A new sound, a "rhythm-thing", a new layer. Nothing helps. Nothing works. I think the break with the straight kicks is a pretty strong moment, but other than that I really do not know what to do. And it is blocking my other attempts to do a track. It has been at the back of my head for some time now.

This track is, in my opinion, 85% finished. It is beyond a sketch or a loop. I hardly ever put unfinished material on SoundCloud. But I need to close this chapter. And I think putting it online is the way to do that. Time to move on.

So here it is. "Sleek V0.5". This version is the one from mid february, all the other versions suck, believe me. Grab it while you can. And if you like it and want to tell me what you think about it, I would really appreciate that.

Spy DJ (@thebandit808) is a regular DJ in the electronic scene of Barcelona for over 20 years. He is known for his constant work in the diffusion of Electro and also for his energetic Techno sessions. In 2001 he debuted as a DJ in the Neon room of Nitsa and since then he has toured countless national and some international clubs, where his sessions and the Electroclub parties of which he was the organizer have been programmed, parties that evolved as a collective to later become a netlabel. Today we are thrilled to share with you a live set recorded by arguably one of the most extraordinary producers from China - Noise&Noise, member of TEBP Music Organization in Japan. Since 2010, he has been active in the Electro scene worldwide and has released more than 15 albums, eps and V.A in USA, Japan, UK, France, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. The labels include Transient Force, Tokyo Electro Beat Park, Anti Gravity Device, Bass Agenda, ANTIZER0, Fundamental-Records, Les Disques Cockpit and more.​
The core of his works is futurism, with themes including post-humanism, space science fiction, near-future science fiction, quantum physics theory, and dystopian ideology. The aesthetic of music is mechanical, cold, paranoid, introverted. His synthesizer art is a mixture of fear, anxiety and ecstasy from the future world.

- Kraftwerk, Drexciya, Dopplereffekt, Chu Ishikawa(石川忠),Kenji Kawai(川井憲次) .But ultimately, you must return to yourself.

- Electronic music artist Yosuke Ikeda (AE35)  from Japan and his label ANTI GRAVITY DEVICE, there is more communication and interaction between us.
 
What inspires you now to create music?
- The mystery of the universe, dreams of alien invasion, the future of technology, the absurdity of life itself, and the struggle of political ideology. 

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- Different tracks require different synthesizers, and I don't care about analog or digital. I even prefer the coldness and hardness of digital synthesizers, they must be deep, abstract, mysterious, neurotic, and aggressive enough.

The next carefully assembled Delsin re-issue EP is four tracks of slick electro from VC-118A aka Samuel van Dijk, who also released on Delta Funktionen's Radio Matrix and the Clone affiliated Frustrated Funk label. This EP was originally released on AC Records in 2015, strictly limited and only sold by the label itself.

All four cuts are electro of the highest order: opener 'Vaxna' is a mid tempo, atmospheric piece that places you in the middle of a desolate futuristic landscape, while 'Sepia' is a more rueful track that encourages your mind to wander amongst its thoughtful pads and sombre chords. It's timeless and tender machine music that’s followed up by 25h, which has an astral feel. Beautifully smeared pads and a nimble bassline cast you free deep in the cosmos. The EP closes in style with 'Versicolor', an emotive electro jam with clever arrangements and immerse sounds.
