I’m a Cliché’s first release of 2016 comes from label boss Cosmo Vitelli. After a five-year hiatus during which he was kept busy by his band Bot’Ox and relocating from Paris to Berlin, this is the very first release to come out of his new studio located in Berlin’s Marzahn district.

A CRUEL STORY
This emotional uptempo track driven by heartfelt synth work explores the territory of dancefloor melancholia. Influences from genres that end in « -wave » but also from the spirit of sentimental electro are obvious and they are creatively used by Cosmo Vitelli for particularly catchy and elegant dance-inducing results.

CHIENS DE L’ENFER
There’s something ominous in this track with a definite rock feeling which is structured around brooding percussion, hypnotic melodies, sinister synths and an entrancing bass line. Darkness prevails and this is the perfect track to take the dancefloor on a date with the hounds of hell.

KETAMINE KARAOKE
Cosmo Vitelli further explores and reinterprets the melancholic and melodic potential of older genres on this catchy tune that sounds like a lost recording from a forgotten yet influential band that used a bass guitar, gently modulating analog synths and vintage drum machines with a taste for dissociatives on the original sound track of a '70s French film.

A CRUEL STORY (I:CUBE REMIX)
One of our favorite producers in Paris delivers a remix which enhances the hypnotic elements of the original track which he turns into tune tense, dark but quite debonair where low end groove is complemented by tribal percussion. Clearlly, this is a track waiting to be unleashed on the dancefloor.

A CRUEL STORY (FX MCHN REMIX)
Fx Mchn is an up and coming producer from London whose tracks are often played by Cosmo Vitelli. This remix focuses on the funkier side of Cruel Story. Instantly danceable, elegantly layered and with added melodic touches, this track conjures element of the Detroit sound and will work wonders on even the most demanding of dancefloors.

Italy via Shanghai is the route taken for the debut E.P of Neapolitan producer Altieri, aka Eugenio Altieri. A designer living in Shanghai, Eugenio started to make music back in 2004, mixing music and visuals to create his “weirdo production” sessions. After traveling east he founded the DesToys duo, a live project that channelled space disco and 80s commercial music.

Edo is a personal view over the modern Asia, Japan in this case. Inspired by the street sounds and bugged out day to day world of Tokyo his debut EP is four tracks of slippery head music. Chiseled from the deep seams of an intergalactic mine and informed by the dark heart of house and no wave disco this is club music from the oily underbelly.

WOMXNIZED 001: R3NATA @ Berlin

@ninasonik was born on August 8 in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico.

Graphic designer, visual artist, vocalist and electronic music producer. In 2011, because of her deep interest in electronic music she decided to study production in Ableton Live in the teaching center focused on sound experimentation Fluxus Sound Lab.

Later in 2012, she released her first EP "Demon Deep" under the colombian label Deep Taste in which she produced different tracks and remixes with the colombian producer Tiago Vera. In 2013 she released "Anomaly Phats" " Tiago Vera and Nina Sonik showcase" and " Deep Taste Sessions Vol. 1" within the same record label Deep Taste with deep house and electro indie elements.

She is currently promoting and managing Motus Records with Demian Licht Demon and composing more music for her new multi-faceted project "INSOLENTES".

Diseñadora gráfica, artista visual, vocalista y productor de música electrónica. En 2011, debido a su profundo interés en la música electrónica, decidió estudiar producción en Ableton Live en el centro de enseñanza enfocado en la experimentación sonora Fluxus Sound Lab.

Más tarde, en 2012, lanzó su primer EP "Demon Deep" bajo el sello colombiano Deep Taste en el que produjo diferentes pistas y remixes con el productor colombiano Tiago Vera. María Arango A.K.A. @Marimarea, is in charge of WOMXNIZED 005 and does it in an alternative way.

Founder of the NÓTT label together with Andrea Arias and Julianna, they intend to visualize and encourage the female presence on the electronic scene in Medellin, through netwotking, showcases and workshops.

Marea oscillates between industrial sounds, EBM, electro, techno, synth wave and italo disco.

In 2017 he participated with Gladys and Andrea Arias in the streaming of the first South American tour of the famous Dutch radio Red Light Radio.

In 2018 Marea launches its new A.K.A. Fata Morgana, with whom she focuses on electronic sounds from the 80s and 90s such as synth wave, italo disco, and new beat.

Marea is constantly exploring sound in her arts career and her productions are about to come to light.

Sulk Magic makes it's anticipated return with emerging talent Etane coming to the fore. Evgeniy Tanaisov has risen to prominence in his native St. Petersburg, playing an integral role in curating the syndicate OBERWAVE, and solidifying his residency as part of the Intertrax community.

His first release offers up two typically esoteric recordings, with a visceral and coldly sensual remix from Berlin bred firecracker Jennifer Touch, and a mid-tempo cosmic throb from label staple John Parsley.
