We’ve reached our 14th iteration of This Is Night Bass and it’s a well-rounded mix of talented artists and unique sounds. From old friends to fresh faces, UKG to bass house, this dynamic curation represents who we are. Label boss AC Slater kicks off the release with his archetypal bassline swagger on ‘Dibby Dibby DJ’, following that is Hans Glader’s low-swinging grooves on garage heater ‘Nostalgia’ featuring rap flows from SG. The heavy house beats of ‘Kilos’ from Basura Boyz and Tombz take the energy up a notch right into Badger’s UKG-influenced ‘High Like This’ with Ak Renn on the vocals. ANDRSN joins the Night Bass fam with synth-driven ‘Move Like’ featuring PVC. Two of our NB Freshmen seal off the comp starting with 1997 and his bass-house banger ‘Dial’, followed by fellow graduate Chuck Shadow with the dark and savage sounds of ‘War Cry’.

Since launching the label in 2015, Bushbaby is without a doubt one of the finest producers to have graced the Southpoint stage, and this latest single 'Woman's Touch' is a testament to this.

We are introduced to a high energy drum burst to kick us off, chased up with some slick vocal slicing in classic UKG style, cascading towards a sub heavy switch up, lifted by more smooth vocal processing and subtle chord progressions. This is the perfect blend of old school and new school garage flavours and is just right for turning the dance in an entirely different direction.

It's time for our Night Bass Freshmen Vol 4 and we’re proud to present a brand-new class of uniquely talented individuals. UKG/Bassline virtuoso @MPH-uk joins the @NightBassRecords fam with 'Come Back', kicking things off with a massive dose of bassline and breaks. You may recognize this next name from his smashing set on our Livestream Vol 5, please welcome back @Event_HorizonMusic as he continues to smash with track 'Reset’. We first saw @PappsMusicUK on @ACSlater's Demo Mix Session Vol 12 and now he graces us with ‘Sauce’, a high-energy number with a bassline that rolls you right into the pitch-shifted drift of ‘Kickstart’ from Bristol-based newcomer @DarkMoonBristol. Another Demo Mix Session (Vol 13) find, @Ranger-Trucco, shines through with ‘Ear Ringing’ - a complex layering of synths alongside crafty vocal samples. Hailing from Ireland, @VibeFactory-music hits us with ‘Let The Games Begin’ where influences of funk and nostalgic sounds seal off the compilation.
