Marie from Splatoon takes the role of Toriel. Once a leader of a resistance against the tyrannical king, she and the resistance have been forced into exile within the hollow remains of Aperture Science. She's quite reserved and collected, living in quiet recluse.

It has fueled a drive for progress.
It is the catalyst for all manner of creativity and ingenuity. 
It has made miracles into realities.
Years ago, two companies stood as the heads of science:
BLACK MESA and APERTURE.

These two companies were always pushing to outdo the other.
Every bit of tech, every chemical, every new idea had to be better than their competitor's.
Eventually, Black Mesa's more stable and ensured successes drove Aperture's funding out of their reach.
With no other options, they did what they did best:
Doing what they had to, because they could.

They managed to create a portal to other universes, ones with funded Apertures,
who could build their tests for them.
However, what started as an interdimensional scam quickly became a discovery of life far beyond our own.
These lifeforms, these people, were taken, studied, experimented on.
They did not take it lightly.

Revolt began, and the lifeforms eventually made it to the surface.
They began causing panic, chaos, and destruction.
Once the government caught wind, the lifeforms were all sealed under Aperture, never to return.

It's been 10 years.
It's time to wake up.
Wake up and smell the ashes.

Snowdin is replaced with a combination of Rusty Ruins from Sonic 3D Blast and the elusive R2 scrapped from Sonic CD. Several Mobians who made it through the portal quickly constructed a series of metallic structures to reside in, only to have them all rust under a constant "rainfall" soon after. They quickly vacated towards New Cappy, leaving only the remains of what might have been.

A lack of clean vocals from the source material meant I had to use my own voice. Yes, that is me.

Her interest in the incident that brought her and everyone else to this universe led her to researching the remains of Aperture thoroughly. In these remains, she met Marie, and since then Test Tube has been with her, although Test Tube often isn't, as she continues her research.

Tried out GennyVST, and attempted to stay mostly within hardware limits. It was honestly a pretty fun experience, getting to mess around with YM synthesis and change around some of the presets to my liking.
I also tried to make the song a little less repetitive than normal, and whether I succeeded in that or not is up for debate.

*Marceline [Adventure Time] - Originally Mettaton, scrapped due to only being included because of my interest in Bubbline and having no other experience with AT.
*Trollface/Trollge [Internet] - Originally Chara, I just didn't think it fit, and I lost interest in Trollge-related content.
*Luigi [Mario] - Originally Asriel, but the way he was implemented didn't actually make sense.
*Sandy [Brawl Stars] - Originally Sans, scrapped when further integrating Psycho Iris into the story. 
*Not a character, but I toyed with the idea of having True Lab be Hidden Palace from Sonic 2. Since I already had a Sonic area, and the characters within the True Lab replacement wouldn't really fit there, I threw it out.
