It's my 1st guitar recording. I'm a very beginner, so, please accept my apologies for spamming SC space. I'm eager to learn, so, your feedback wrt my playing would be much appreciated. If I had played better I would dedicate this song to someone VERY special who encouraged my guitar playing... and who played this song recently live. Thank you & a smile to you all.

I suffer from a terrible fear of playing in front of others and even in front of my own recorder! Can't say that I play much much better (obviously no record of that, lol) but this time I am playing for all of you here SoundClouders just so I can overcome this, just as Peter Seeger said it...We shall overcome... 

I have made a commitment today towards my guitar playing progress, therefore my commitment is to record 1 song per week for 7 weeks. I have recorded today the 1st song out of those 7 commitments with a barre chord challenge, barres are a pain thingy for me at the moment... And now... 

Let's see if you can actually recognize what I am playing...

This is no 2 - part of my 7 weeks commitment towards my playing/improving/learning of this beautiful instrument. My main purpose is to learn guitar and as I have a full time job during week I need to make a commitment in order to actually play this beautiful instrument. 

As I'm recording and sharing I'm also daring to be out of my comfort zone. Although I have to admit that so far I felt really safe posting here on SC with the wonderful support of so many of you, listening to my poor playing and actually encouraging me. Thank you very much.

Curious if anyone will notice an improvement in my playing along the way... 
So far, I feel that I haven't...but I'll stick to playing no matter what. Thank you so much for the listen and your comments.

I chose a classical one, has some barre chords, far from flawless playing yet... But ...I played it by heart (mind you, I don't have great memory when it comes to music notes). 

So, here's my commitment continuing and trusting that this is the path to get me where most of you great musicians on SC have been already arrived for a while now....

Yes, I am a beginner and I dare to share this... sorry...but is part of my guitar (learning) commitment :)

I so much wish I had done better... Luckily I don't make a living out of this :)

I am determined at my age to learn guitar, that's true, but who wouldn't be when you hear all these wonderful talented musicians on SC.. You just want to be part of the SC flock :))) 

So, here's my no 4 commitment, I tried playing "You Belong To Me" song (Billy Rose). It might now actually just be some random buzzing chords... But, hey I've tried some new things in this no 4...I tried a (sort of) slide, kind of pull offs(?!) and yay what came out was also lots of buzzing .. Sorry... :)

And now.... bring on all that feedback, folks!! Critics are accepted. Oh, don't forget to leave some guitar tips too for a beginner.

I love both singing and playing guitar... i started playing guitar and singing not long ago... lots of learn ahead... 
I love Bob Lenox's music, maybe not as unknown as other artists... to me he's a very special musician, his music has a powerful sentimental touch.
