Our Live @ Mystic Creatures Festival 2024 in Poland. 
Was suppose to be the closing set of Creatures Corner stage but due to the weather we went to Cosmic Circus which was even more epic with all the beautiful crowd under the rain and the most beautiful stage we've seen so far. A super retro carnival carrossel adapted for this festival.
We ended up playing more than 3h. Here´s our Zen Baboon part.

This is a live recording of my Ecstatic Dance set at the soul retreat “Treatment Gathering,” held on May 10th, 2025.

The journey begins with a gentle ceremonial atmosphere, gradually building into deep and uplifting grooves, and finally landing into a calm, integrated space. Inspired by the spirit of South American shamanism, the set was curated to access the deeper layers of the body and mind — shaking off and transforming unnecessary emotions and energies along the way.

I was honoured to host my first Dance Wave event in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia for the Winter Solstice, and guide participants through a Solstice ceremony with intention-setting, a dance journey to bring light to the darker parts of ourselves, into a sound bath to integrate before the closing circle. This is the live recording of the dance journey, complete with live-looping of yidaki/didjeridoo, vocals, and percussion.

This experience was truly humbling – the response and feedback incredible and a potent co-creation in aligning with the cycles of our world to release, heal and express authentically. I am filled with purpose and meaning and feel inspired to continue to evolve these offerings for community connection and celebration. For nearly two decades, Amani Friend has been at the helm of the global-electronic project Liquid Bloom. Feeling equally at home on the international festival dance circuit, in the yoga studio, and in the more subtle sonic spaces reserved for intentional ceremonies guided by ancient allies, the wide-ranging artist collective under the umbrella of the Liquid Bloom project spans distance, time, and dimensions of the mind.

As one half of Desert Dwellers, Amani brings his dance floor guidance and experience to harness a deeper, transportive journey, giving as much weight to calm and the serene as to the ecstatic groove. As founder of Liquid Bloom, he has guided the project through its many lives, and its many rebirths at the hands of remixers AtYyA, Hedflux, Numatik, and Mose to name a few. Joining Amani on stage and in the studio is one-man looping orchestra Poranguí, whose own globe-trotting journey has made his musical upbringing as varied as the instruments he lays before him. A Liquid Bloom performance with the Brazilian-born, U.S.-based artist sees him bounce between didgeridoo, kalimba, and vocals with ease, as he celebrates percussion and instruments from around the world in a dizzying collection.

The Liquid Bloom experience unfolds in a multitude of incarnations. Amani is able to craft deep, entrancing journeys during his solo DJ sets. As a duo, Amani and Poranguí are able to balance and weave the organic and the electronic within their performances. With multi-instrumentalists, singers, and performers like Kaminanda, Deya Dova, Shamans Dream, and Ixchel Prisma, the Liquid Bloom live band springs to life, bringing the catalogue into view through an entirely different lens and bursting with a vibrancy and depth of artistic harmony.
