The ever changing magical mural of Lanzarote is a constant reminder of that the only reality is here and now and the human scale is a golden one to observe it all. As above so below. The awakening of consciousness is the goal of creation.

Naâman X Massy X Triple - Know Yourself

Dans ce projet aux influences  rub'a'dub, le duo Daddy Cookiz et Stoneman se veulent renouer les racines du raggamuffin avec une pointe de reggae digital. Cet album est aussi marqué par une collaboration avec le jamaïcain P.Nyne, jeune prodige de la scène new roots, sur le morceau : "Nous c'est Rub'a'Dub"
Pour un retour plus roots, il est aussi coloré par la présence de la section cuivres des vétérans Belges "Asham Band". Saxophone et trompette accompagnent donc quelques morceaux rythmés d'un bon skank teinté de mélodica et bien d'autres surprises concoctées par le groupe.
L'album ras Attack c'est aussi un album entièrement dédié à leur univers rasta, qui est accompagné d'une B.D. ambiancée par l'histoire du groupe et illustré par les 2 chanteurs.

This set is a tribute to the amazing Kaya Project & Kalya Scintilla... what an amazing collaboration it could be!! <3
Extemporary & improvised set including tracks taken from 2 of my favourite artists nowadays.
I opened the 2 folders with their music and, after an indecisive beginning on the direction to be taken, I warmed up and decided to keep it more into the  downtempo side of them both yet playing with different waves in the attempt to show different aspects of these 2 amazing artists who themselves created their magical and unique styles!
