The Brvtlaist is proud to present a new mix from Kalte Liebe. The Berlin-based duo has emerged as one of our favorite projects across EBM, techno and more with their genre shattering productions and sets. Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences and have since put out killer material on on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT.  The Brvtalist also recently premiered their single "Dopamin" which remains one of our favorite tracks at the moment. With lots of unreleased in the pipeline we're excited for what's next.

@nicky_schelle started listening to techno at the age of 12. His older brother was at raves a lot at the time. This is how he came into contact with this music & was immediately completely enthusiastic about the hard kicks & basses. So the artist from Stuttgart started to DJing himself. At first he went through different genres like hip-hop, but at the age of 17 he ended up back in techno - until today.

Nicky Schelle's musical style is moving away from modern hard techno towards old 2000s tools, groove and drive. His sets are also not as fast as they used to be and have a more hypnotic character. The reason for this development is probably the last festivals he attended and the influence of the sound in Stuttgart. He continues to develop & his sound moves with him.

In what is now our 10th episode of our Scepta Podcast, Nicky Schelle has included many tracks from the 2000s that are both heavy and hypnotic. The energy is not lost on the set, instead it is constantly being fueled and revived. Treat yourself and listen to this brand new episode 💿
