With IGNIS, Lorkestra builds an EP that burns at the core. Fast BPMs, razor-sharp synths played like drums, heavy basslines: each track climbs like rising heat, breaking open in explosive drops designed for the club. It’s raw, unpredictable, and forged in real time with the dancefloor.
“This is my inner fire, the passion that’s been burning since day one,” he says. That flame first sparked when he began producing his own tracks, and it’s kept alive every time he road-tests new music. The EP’s tracklist itself was shaped through this process of live feedback, by watching the crowd erupt.

At the heart of IGNIS lies a deep connection to electronic music’s diasporic roots. “I’ve always been very inspired by afro-diasporic electronic music,” he explains. On this project, he leans into those links: UK Garage collides with Brazilian Funk, house synths cut through soca and kuduro rhythms.

For Lorkestra, the point isn’t just genre fusion but human connection. “What ties me to these genres are first and foremost the people behind them. I love to research and collaborate with the artists who carry these cultures.” In IGNIS, the fire is sonic, but it’s also communal — a blaze sustained by memory, transmission and dialogue.
Out September 26, 2025, IGNIS represents Lorkestra’s most refined vision of club music yet: collective trance, raw energy, and flames that spread.
