“Small But Great” is a project by Wai Kit Lam, who has her ‘Artist-in-residence’ at Monsaraz, Portugal, in March 2012.  During her residence, a series of sound from Monsaraz and São Pedro do Corval will be published through Facebook. 

Through the borderless of Internet, Lam would like to connect these two small towns to the world, to spread those small but great sounds and show that they exist and are valuable.  

Anyone can download these sounds and listen them no matter whether you are riding on a busy underground, or lose yourself in a boring and busy city.  Lam hopes that you can get a piece of quiet and comfort through these peaceful sounds.  Moreover, you can also upload the sounds of Monsaraz and São Pedro do Corval through the Page on Facebook, in order to build up a collection of “Small But Great” sounds.


For uploading your “Small But Great” sounds of Monsaraz & São Pedro do Corval, please send them to Wai Kit Lam through lamwaikit@gmail.com, and write 1-2 lines about it.  Your sounds will be published after approval.
