Here he pushes a fresh take on techno with weird yet interesting sound design. However, he far from an unknown figure in the scene. The past years he has been ½ of the MDD duo, releasing tracks on AnD's Inner Surface and South London Analogue Material. Apart from that he's also organized several parties in Toronto, inviting artists as DVS1 and Blawan. For the next hour, be ready for one of our picks as artist to watch in 2022!

Orphic resident Thoms Traxx is totally in control of the next 75 minutes for Artaphine Series. One of the collectives of the Amsterdam underground that is slowly moving out the illegal rave scene while staying true to their core, this resident displays the more deeper side of the groovy domain. Next to the DJ work, he's also part of the Minimal Collective, that tries to blend the boundaries of music, visual and physical artistic styles. The dedication reflects the selection, so tune in.

Ascend Slowed Down

A new guest in the latest episode presents five experimental pieces filled with the atmosphere of avant-garde ambient electronics and enriched with warm breakbeat rhythms.

Fabio La Vecchia, known by his musical avatar Sounding, is an Italian ambient and experimental electronic musician whose passion for creating music was ignited by the haunting soundscapes of David Lynch's films, particularly those scored by Angelo Badalamenti. His musical journey began with playing keyboards in rock bands, drawing inspiration from instrumental groups like Mogwai, Air, and Pink Floyd. The artist holds a particular admiration for Mark Nelson of Pan American, appreciating the diverse influences and unique sounds in Nelson's work.

The release came out on November 14, 2025, and is available on all digital stores and streaming platforms, as well as on our Bandcamp (link in bio)
