Me and Tom made this little tribute to Tony De Leon a few years back. It went on my Smile 4 demo. Mostly influenced by Tony's 'Black is Black' but mashed up with a few of his other tracks. I like the fact it uses the 'Donk' that is used in the Paul Janes remix of 'The Dawn'.

I have had stacks of fun playing this track in my sets and I thought I would share so that you can enjoy it too! Its a nice little dj tool so have fun mixing!

Wain Johnstone B2B Caz Wood Classics set @ Frantic, Timeless 2015

Well here it is. I have been djing since 2002 and always attended the Tidy Weekenders. Had some amazing times but as a dj surely nothing can beat playing at a weekender. I have never been asked until this year when Sam asked me and Alf to play a Lamin8ers set on the Sunday night in the bounce room of what could be the last ever weekender.

I was pretty fucking excited. It got even better when Alfie said I should play it solo because I deserved to get my own set at a weekender and he really isn't a fan of bounce, he only made these Lamin8ers tracks with me because we love working together and basically i made him do them for me, i went to a wonderful charm school.

Anyways... on the night it was fucking brilliant. The crowd were amazing and I had the time of my life. I am so chuffed it went as well as it did and some of the feedback through various new fans status on facebook I have never been happier about a set. Two separate people said it was their set of the weekend and I was blown away by a lads comment that it was the best set he had EVER heard!!! (wow!...... although i have to question, has he been to more than two sets in his life?)

I am about to go to bed but will post the tracklist in the next few days. Thank you for all your support throughout the years and i am hyper chuffed i finally got to play for you at a Tidy Weekender.

To celebrate 10 years since my first ever demo 'Smile' I wanted to do something special. This mix is the first of a few I have planned this year and I wanted to make it EPIC! So its 4 hours long!!! Yep that's right, 4 Hours. By far the longest mix I have ever done.

I am best known for playing Bounce and its the genre I like playing the most. This mix is basically a best of Wain Johnstone bounce from the last 10 years encompassing nothing but tunes I absolutely adore and a stack of my favourite power mixes which you may have heard before but I had to include for nostalgic reasons!

Once I decided I wanted to play one final set and have a party with all my fans The Bounce Factory was the obvious choice. Thankfully Jamie and Ed were happy to have me and gave me a cracking set time 12 - 1.

It took me ages to decide what to play. Too many good tracks that I wanted to cram into an hour. These are the ones that I finally decided on. A couple of special bootlegs that I made especially for the set. Hopefully it made it all a bit special.

The crowd were totally amazing. The room was completely rammed and the vibe was fantastic. Fair to say I loved every minute of it. Silly/fun bounce track I made to be the final track on my Smile 4 demo. The muppets appeared at the end of my first 3 Smile mixes so for the fourth I thought I would make it into a track. Enjoy!

This night was one of my favourite gigs ever, Over 200 people in a small social club in Belfast going mad for little old me. They even named the event Smile after my demos! This was the third year running I had played for them. 
The promoters where fantastic and they properly looked after me during my stay. It was also great because it was the only time my Irish family got to see me play! 

I actually forgot that the guys had sent me a recording of the set. Its a little rough but hey it was live! I hope you enjoy it. Its fast as hell!!!

Me and Kato put this cd together over 10 years ago. It was a birthday present for our friend and it consists of all his favourite tracks. I re-listened recently and decided I really like the mix. So thought i'd share!

Hi folks,

Thanks for visiting. I have been djing since 2002 and playing in clubs since 2006.  I have recently retired from playing in clubs so the only place you will hear my music will be online.

I love hard dance especially the bounce side of things. I am all about high energy and uplifting tunes so if that's your thing then you are in the right place!

I have played for brands such as Frantic, Tidy, Polysexual, AWsum, Contagious, B2T, Nu Religion, Bounce Factory, We Love Bounce, Dirtbox, Sundissential & Wildchild. Holding residencies at Contagious, Bounce & We Love Bounce.

I have been lucky enough to play at some great venues including The Tidy Weekender, Global Gathering, Gatecrasher, SE One, Koko, Scala, The Sanctuary, Escape, Renaissance Rooms & Hidden.

I made my way into the scene by getting recognition for my hugely popular 'Smile' demos. This combined with various other mixes and producing many popular tracks has planted my name firmly in the hard dance scene. I am the driving force and one half of the mighty Lamin8ers, the 8-bit hard dance sensation! Check out the Lamin8ers soundcloud for more info.

Since retiring I have enjoyed sticking together some trance mixes. This is the stuff I love to go clubbing to. Its only for fun so I hope you enjoy them.
