The 'Train Station in Outer Space' is a particularly enduring aesthetic among Lo-fi listeners & artists.

I find it especially captivating as it encapsulates the boundless freedom of outer space and yet keeps me grounded since the train is, well, a highly routine form of transport with fixed stops.

And that was why I decided to base my first attempt at a Lo-fi track on this aeshtetic.

For the moment, let's set our worries aside and take like a leisurely walk under the clear sky. Everything's gonna be alright :)

Coastal Drive

The Asian koel is known affectionately in Singapore as the "uwu bird", because of its instantly recognisable mating call.

Singaporeans generally have a love-hate relationship with it, but when I set out to make a beat infused with ambient bird calls, the koel immediately came to mind as I wanted to give the beat a suburban Singaporean flavour.

Of course, if you've lived in other parts of Asia such as Malaysia and India, you'd probably recognise its call too, when it comes up in the track :)
