Een gesprek tussen theatermakers en -docenten Janet Schreurs en Casper Coenegracht over wat Studio Geen Probleem is en waarin ze het (anoniem ingeleverde) probleem uit het archief van de Studio; 'Te weinig ruimte' bespreken vanuit verschillende invalshoeken, zonder het op te willen lossen.

Janet en Casper kennen elkaar van de opleiding Theatre in Education op ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. Na hun afstuderen (Casper in 2014 en Janet in 2015) hebben ze allebei een gevarieerd en hobbelig pad bewandeld in het theater-, of beter gezegd het kunst werkveld. Janet deed nog de master Artist Educator op ArtEZ Arnhem, Casper verdiepte zich vanuit zijn passie voor muziek in audioproductie. In gesprekken met elkaar over werk, opdrachten, klussen, werkgevers vielen vaak uitspraken als ‘wij zouden zelf de opdrachtgever moeten zijn’, ‘we zouden een collectief moeten oprichten’. Toen Studio Geen Probleem een feit was en Janet Casper vroeg of hij het zag zitten om een podcast te gaan maken vanuit de filosofie van Studio Geen Probleem, aarzelde hij geen moment en aldus geschiedde.

Studio Geen Probleem is ontstaan vanuit de behoefte om samen kunst te maken. Dit Arnhemse collectief is er voor de Arnhemmer én voor de stad. ‘Onze kunst is onaf, slordig, complex, levend en altijd in beweging. Een weerspiegeling van de wereld om ons heen. Hoge en lage kunst zegt ons niets. Middels experiment zoeken we naar een omgeving waarin verbinding centraal staat.’ 

Studio Geen Probleem biedt interdisciplinaire workshops aan waarin humor, actualiteit, verbinding en experiment op de eerste plaats staan. Ook biedt het Arnhemse collectief ruimte aan ieder die wil (samen)werken. Iedereen is welkom mét of zonder problemen.
