Formed by former members of Montreal’s the Planet Smashers, Calgary’s Mocking Shadows & JK & the Relays, there is a wealth of experience to draw upon.  A debut performance at the 2015 Calgary International Reggae Festival showcased Wake the Town as a new force in Canada playing Jamaican rock n’ roll. 
Catchy hooks, 4 part harmonies and superb musicianship create a sound that is reminiscent of old-school Doo Wop, Motown and Studio One sounds.  
The members of Wake the Town often collaborate with such artists as Vic Ruggiero and Jesse Wagner on other projects and have shared bills with the likes of Ziggy Marley, Fishbone, the English Beat and the Dirty Heads.
