This moment in a live show never gets old, that cheer!!! 

Watched you perform this live at a small venue in Toronto last year. Can honestly say it was one of the best concert experiences of my life! Amazing :)

Seeing Wakey! Wakey! in a little venue in LA was my first small and intimate concert and I brought some friends along who had never heard of W!W! before and this is was the best moment. The story leading up to this song and then needing to get to the chorus before figuring out what was happening was so awesome!

Saw them perform in Chapel Hill, NC at Local 506. Warm and fuzzy show!

I love this cover. I've played it more live than most songs I've actually written. I love the moment, somewhere about three lines in, when the audience figures out what I'm playing and starts to cheer. A little trivia, the song was originally written and performed by Robert Hazard, but it was Cindy Lauper's cover that made the song famous. A few years after we released this I met a friend of Hazard's in a bar in Philly. He told me that Robert had passed a few years before, but it was nice to hear his friend's song the way it was intended to be sung. Still gives me chill bumps to think about.
