I fell in love with this song and Wakey! Wakey! especially Michael Grubbs after watching One Tree Hill and watching him play the piano! I was speechless.

My modern dance teacher surprised me with a dance choreographed to War Sweater on my birthday. I still don't know how she taught my classmates the choreography, but it was an awesome 21st birthday present. That was back in 2010 :)

I used to play with a guitar player in an old band that would say, be careful what you write, because you never know which song is gonna be the one you end up singing every night for the rest of your life. I guess I'm lucky that one of those songs has turned out to be War Sweater. I love seeing audiences react to this song, especially when they aren't as familiar with our music. We recorded this song with Chris Cubeta, and it turned out to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. We were so happy with this track, he ended up producing our first full length album, 'Almost Everything' as well.
