Wakki combines soul- and funkgrooves with philosofical jazzlics and subtle hints of other genres, influenced by bands like Snarky Puppy, The Ploctones and Eric Vloeimans' Gatecrash. 

Early 2015 we began writing our own material; the first songs represent a musical lunch: danceable "Scrambled Eggs", the warm, melting cheese of a "Panini" and the crunchiness of "Kroepoek".
