Arguably the 'ID' track of the year, 'Committed To Sparkle Motion', a title inspired by Donnie Darko, has been the source of much speculation as to the true artist behind this magical vocal; the mystery is no more.

Discopolis are a three-piece band from Edinburgh. They create shoegaze/disco/house music with synthesizers, guitars and drum machines. The school friends, Fergus (vocals, synth and guitar), Laurie (synth, guitar and samples) and Dave (synth, drums, production), formed in late 2010. Developing their live show at summer festivals across the UK and Europe they have supported acts such as Friendly Fires, Wild Beasts, Metronomy, Simian Mobile Disco, Django Django and Matthew Dear while also remixing for The Wombats, Paper Crows, Diagrams, Miaoux Miaoux and Airship.

Their debut single 'Lofty Ambitions' was playlisted on Radio 1 garnering support along the way from Pete Tong and Rob da Bank.

On this initial release of 'Committed To Sparkle Motion' dutch duo 'DubVision' live up to their hype, following up their club hits 'All By Myself' and their collaborative release 'You & I' with Project 46 feat. Donna Lewis. Their signature sound is stamped on this production receiving huge support already from Axwell, Thomas Gold and Swedish House Mafia.

The original and further remixes are to follow on the full release to be scheduled at a later date.

Originally released by Musical Freedom, the instrumental edit of 19-year-old Oliver Heldens’ deep house smash ‘Gecko’ has become a staple in club sets for 2014, peaking at #2 in the Beatport chart and garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Zane Lowe. 

The latest edit ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, written and vocalled by Becky Hill during a late night recording session with MNEK, is being released by Parlophone’s vital new dance imprint FFRR. Initially written for another vocalist, Becky’s towering vocal on Gecko’s chorus was deemed the perfect fit and has already been coined the ‘Hottest Record in the World’ by Zane Lowe.

"We were inspired to make a single with as much emotion and depth as possible,” says Third Party. “A lot of EDM now just focuses on the drop and skips over the breakdowns. His collaboration with Lovebirds in 2011 "Want You In My Soul" was considered by many to be tune of the year and turned many listeners on to what Stee was capable of.

NEW_ID have set out their stall this year with a string of killer remixes and Originals that have garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong, Sander Van Doorn, and Alesso, both on air and in the clubs and festivals.
The NEW_ID & Axwell remix collaboration on Steve Mac & Mutiny UK ft Nate James 'Feel The Pressure' reached the summit of the Beatport release chart whilst their reprise of the classic 'Thrill Me' by Junior Jack is sure to be a festival mainstay for many years to come.

Legendary Swedish artist and producer Axwell has teamed up with his protégé Shapov for brand new track, ‘Belong’. The soaring, anthemic vocal will sound familiar to anyone who has seen either artist playing live over the last few months, as it has rapidly become a fan favourite. The record will be released via Axwell’s own Axtone Records label, and includes a ‘Remode’ version from Axwell & Years. Axwell said: "Working with Shapov has been a real pleasure. He is one of the most talented artists around right now, and I’m pleased to be a part of his musical journey and to have him representing Axtone at shows all around the world." Shapov said: “We're very excited to be unleashing ‘Belong’ to the world! It’s been amazing to hear crowds singing it back to us already when we've play it out!”

Axwell is currently in the midst of a packed summer schedule of Axwell /\ Ingrosso shows, and is also taking time out for his solo performances as well as some special Axtone dates which will include appearances from Shapov.
