I am *finally* able to some semblance of harsh vocals!

This is my first time doing actual harsh vocals, so please be gentle with any critiques. Lol. I'm a complete newbie. 😅

Note: I did use some audio and sound engineering (Audacity and Ableton) to mix this.

I originally wrote this in memory of my friends Lori and Jeff. I've rearranged this version in memory of my friends Mimi, Joe, Wren, Kitty, and Tyler, all of whom I've lost within the last three or so years. I hope this song does them all justice.

Kaleigh's artistic project “Walden’s Edge” combines music, writing, art, philosophy, politics, and many other areas in a unique and creative way.  Ze hopes to form an artistic community with people contributing in these and many other areas.

They've written quite a few songs, including lyrics, but unfortunately zir grasp on music composition is a bit more advanced than their current playing abilities, so virtually all of zir music is digitally created, owing to hand-eye coordination issues related to being autistic and having dyspraxia.  They also have cervical radiculopathy, which affects zir ability to play an instrument due to sporadic loss of functionality in their hands.  

Ze generally writes prog metal-oriented music, with their newer music most heavily inspired by prog/tech death bands like Gorod, Obscura, Serdce, Cynic, Inferi, Archspire, etc., but with more Marxist-Leninist-oriented lyrics inspired by Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down. All of zir music (so far) is concept work related to currently developing poems and graphic novellas.
