New Years Resolution

I have lived life with Cystic Fibrosis since birth and doing what I can to enjoy my time here while I still have breath in me. Born and raised in Oregon. Just a normal kid like anyone could imagine, enjoying video games and spending time with friends while also having to treat this condition. I enjoyed writing stories and simple poems in my early teens, mostly inspired from a childhood crush I had combined with the feeling that I would never be good enough for a healthy, happy relationship. I began playing my keyboard around 14 years old, thanks to my musically inclined uncle. I've mostly just improvised and played on my own for fun as well as to focus and relax my mind. I partially practiced a few classical pieces but never focused enough to learn them completely. Now, I feel like making music is where I am most confident. I  enjoy improvising Ocarina wherever I go, I also use this instrument to exercise my lungs. I first started practicing to improve my singing around the beginning of 2023. It's a bit more of a challenge with my condition, but I continue to practice on my own. I record my singing when my lungs aren't feeling so tight.
