WALEE aka Abu Amaanee aka Mac Kym was  born in Fresno, CA.   Raised as a Christian, but reverted back to Al-Islam in 1991.   WALEE  has always been good with the gift of gab. He began D'Jayin,producing, and writing, not only for himself, but for other local artist(s) as well, since the late 80's.  He is  now using this same arena as a platform to advocate and remind the masses about Islam & their obligations to (Allah/God).
 
By possesing leadership qualities within the community, WALEE  is making a stand by advocating community awareness thru his "words of wisdom"; shedding light on such  matters such as drugs in the community, racism, gangs, and other decadances in society;from our higher power(Allah/God) we are commanded to strive for greatness, and   thus this is the Message that WALEE is advocating to all that will hear and heed.....WALEE
