‘Trauma is not what happens to you, it’s what happens inside of you and that’s a good thing btw Trauma can also be inflicted not by what happens to you, but by what DOESN’T happen but should happen. So that when your needs aren’t met that can wound as well, even though you weren’t overtly hurt you’re still wounded by not having your essential human needs met. 

But if trauma is what happened inside you, the wound that you sustained, the meaning you made of it, the way you then begin to believe certain things about yourself of the world, of other people, and if trauma was a disconnection from the authentic self, guess what? good news! That can be restored at any moment.

When we see it as that wound, as long as we see it that way, it’s a wound that can be healed. If we see it as a bunch of things that happened that will never UNHAPPEN. 

We don’t have to allow it to define our lives, how we see ourselves, how we see the world. How we relate to possibility, how we relate to spiritual transformation. ‘

Known for reckless experimentation in production and recognisable attitude at his Control Club residency, Walentin Pauer's dilettantism transformed into a work ethic which propelled him to the point of reading the room without having to compromise the dancefloor's attitude. Never satisfied.

 While playing for venues and parties such as Renate's Silvester party, Kater Blau, Crack Bellmer, Bohnengold, Virage Paris, Gouter de Nuit or La Rotonde Stalingrad, Walentin Pauer does bookings for 'Cabinet', 'Jetlagged' and 'Jacked' nights in Bucharest for Control Club.
