"Assemble" was composed by Welsh musician Iffy Iwobi with Wales' Temple of Peace Artist in Residence Jon Berry, as a tribute to the fallen from Wales' BME communities. 

The piece was performed for the WW100 BME Remembrance Service at Wales' Temple of Peace on 2nd November 2018, attended by over 200 people, and organised by Race Council Cymru / Black History Month with WCIA (Welsh Centre for International Affairs)and the Welsh Government.

Craig Owen, Head of Wales for Peace at the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, marks the centenary of the post-World War I Treaty of Versailles – signed on 28 June 1919 – with this Gregynog Lecture exploring the ‘peace legacy’ of the Davies family, Wales’ unique Temple of Peace, and the extraordinary stories of ordinary people who, over the last 100 years, have shaped Wales’ role in building a better world.

Inspiring a 'new generation of internationalists' through learning from Wales' peace heritage...  the individuals, communities and movements who have championed Wales' peacebuilding role in the world, from the First World War to today. Heritage Lottery funded, volunteer-driven project, managed by the Welsh Centre for International Affairs.
