PREMIERE : Shea McGilvray - Rest Stop

The way he moved was fast and furious, gliding across the room with wild movements and an electric pace. He landed each step expertly in time yet at any given moment looked as if he might recklessly spin beyond control and crash. Some called him a psycho dancer, others believed he was once a ballerina who had lost his way. The music rattled and echoed in the small chamber as he leapt between the walls in time with the persuasive percussion and dazzling drums. This was his moment, it was beautiful in its relentless chaos. 

Iron Curtis is set to release a mini album split across two parts via way of Hudd Trax. The music featured is club built and dancefloor ready, however we chose perhaps one of the most pensive and reflective pieces on the new release to feature. It's elegant and tasteful, subtle and harmonic.

I like my vibes heavy on the bass, ticklish on the percussion and with a mysterious lofi melancholy. 
I love DJ'ing with a passion and being able to set the mood and tone of a crowd is an exhilarating feeling.

"WalkPalmer, a 27-year-old producer living in Århus, Denmark, was featured on XLR8R in April 2020, with the first single from his awaited new album. Since then, he’s been working hard to finish the LP, titled Changes, which went live in October. The releases displays the works he created during lockdown and so change has been a driving force in its production. The album features various genres and moods, ranging from ambient to deep house and more techno-focused cuts, with inspiration drawn from lo-fi, percussive, and melancholic soundscapes. “Standing On Waves” captures this perfectly with its slo-mo groove and gritty synth work." - Xlr8r on Xlr8r+ Roundup November 2020

"WalkPalmer is Anders, a 27-year-old producer living in Århus, Denmark. He’s been playing around with electronic music for 11 years but has really felt the urge to move his music forward recently. He’s inspired by playful percussion, melancholic and lo-fi synths, and big kicks.
