This track is part of the “ILIWAN EP — De Luxe Edition”, a deep desert house project inspired by Tuareg Berber culture and the mystic breath of the Sahara.
Written entirely in Tamasheq (Tuareg language) using phonetic romanization for vocal clarity, it blends tribal percussion, desert flutes, imzad violin, dark hypnotic synths, and African child choir elements.

The atmosphere is spiritual, cinematic, and hypnotic — designed for deep listening, late-night sets, and immersive playlists.

“Forged in Fire” was born from painfrom nights where everything felt like it was burning down.

But sometimes the only way to become stronger is to walk through the flame.

This track is about transformation - about finding your strength in the chaos, your rhythm in the struggle, and your voice when silence feels heavy.

It’s not just a dance track - it’s defiance, survival, and healing in motion.
I didn’t escape the fire, I became it.

Forged in Fire

I was inspired by my Dominican neighbors.  It's about being them on a hot summer day.  I started with lots of lyrics and a hook for the chorus.  I toyed with many ideas for the vocal performance and the only way that worked was to rap them (first time). I also added my wifes off key singing for some flavor.  Equipment used includes, an Electribe, Kaossilator Pro, MicroKorg XL, Novation, and some Logic sounds. I'm very happy with the way it turned out and would love to get it mastered to add some volume and some more low end.
