I wrote this for my granddaughter a month or so after she was born.  The tune is from "It Had To Be You", one of the American Standards.

This second 'retreat' of the Invitation considers what it means to search for God with your whole heart and to find him. Jeremiah 29:12-14 is read three times in the format of lectio divina. Thoughts and questions are shared throughout to guide your time of prayer.

Retreat #2 - Jeremiah 29 no. 3

This song has a familiar melody, but the words are about Lola the cat that was being kept by a relative of the owner while the owner was on her honeymoon.   While being kept at a house in Tonkawa, Lola escaped the house and was gone for 5 days during her owner's honeymoon.  Finally, Lola showed back up at the house, none the worse for wear!
