The first compilation from Paul Oakenfold’s Four Seasons album series was “Winter”. The album saw a worldwide release on 17th February and featured an energetic tracklist including these two exclusive highlights lovingly crafted by Thomas Datt and Sean Truby & Craig Purvis especially for the album.  

Paul Oakenfold’s anthem “Full Moon Party” was one of the biggest tracks of 2011 for Perfecto Fluoro and here one of Paul’s current favourite trance producers Thomas Datt reworks the original with astonishingly epic production – fusing the best of progressive and acid trance. As featured at all of Paul’s recent shows on the Four Seasons Winter tour dates – this remix has been lifting dance floors all over Europe and now looks set to do the same worldwide. 

“Beyond The Horizon” is the 2nd exclusive from “Winter” and it’s a straight up driving club banger suited for peak time main room action. Created by Perfecto newcomers Sean Truby and Craig Purvis this is a strong, powerful sound that is perfectly suited to Perfecto Fluoro – so expect more from these boys in the future.

Federation are back with another classy release, pushing the boundaries with their unique sound and showing why they are fast establishing themselves as front runners in pioneering a new sound which draws influence from both the underground trance and 80’s electronica scenes.

As used on Paul Oakenfold’s latest “We Are Planet Perfecto” compilation “Innocent Desire” continues the story from where Federation’s debut single “Synchronized” began. 

Both keen fans of bands like the The Cocteau Twins, Sisters of Mercy and The Cure, Federation’s Ben Lost and Rich “Solarstone” Mowatt make precision music with depth, substance and emotion. 

“Innocent Desire” fuses hypnotic psychedelic grooves with big dramatic melodies and perfectly executed vocals. 

With a 4 piece band coming together and an abundance of fresh material being written for perfecto as well as the planned 2012 live shows – to say Federation is a buzz word in our office is something of an understatement.

Hot on the heels of his killer remix of Man With No Name’s classic “Teleport”, studio genius Nick Sentience steps up with another storming mix for Perfecto Fluoro. His driving psy trance take on the single pushes the energy levels to full throttle. Hot new remixer Phil Taylor rounds off the package with a banging mix aimed at the main room / peak time.

What’s in a name? Well, a lot in Tim Wolff’s case. He returns to the imprint that has a striking resemblance with his last name. And Mr Wolff’s pure, stripped down and uptempo techno productions fit Wolfskuil Records all to well. 

Get Ready for uncompromising big room techno. The genre’s popularity is ever growing this day and age. Not surprising as it’s a perfect soundtrack in todays uncertain and detached society. 

The titletrack is a relentless, peaktime monstertune. Old school piano stabs are accompanied by an enflamed speech, pounding rythms and a huge breakdown. Get Ready reminds us of Dave Clarke’s 90’s classics. No wonder the man himself played this tune several times on his White Noise radioshow allready.

On remixduties are Dutch studio wunderkind Quince and Wolfskuil labelboss Darko Esser. Quince delivered a stripped down, dubbed out funkcersize that’s as much a deep hypnotic excursion as a prime time secret weapon. A long build gets an unexpected turn when the break kicks in. Quince uses all the tricks he has up his sleeve to turn sounds inside out before the kick drops back in
.
Darko Esser’s interpretation is the moodiest one of the lot. The piano stabs from the original form a foundation for funk fuelled techno grooves. In turn the speech-sample is draped in melancholic strings, wich emphasize the emotional content of the spoken words extensively.
