After the initial aftermath that was caused by “Infinite Impact”, things started shifting and living on their own. Along with our usual releases, we have also started to publish free downloads via our Soundcloud, which ended up like a perfect platform for artists that deserves to get a shine. In the second part “Assembly Assault”, relationships started to cultivate and get shaped much more tenaciously and dynamically since this compilation became the germ behind the bloom of our SINFUL MAZE producers community in the form of a daily chat for the artistic and the joys and hardships of everyday life lasting till nowadays… That grew into 'RODINA'! 

SINFUL MAZE brings you the 3rd part continuing with the trilogy of the Various Artists Compilation lore, the last and the biggest. In the wake of the first “Infinite Impact” and the following  “Assembly Assault” exploring all the unknown producers from all around the globe, this series comes to its end with the final epos titled “Outer Operators”.

So here we have it, the final release from us at Yamatai Records for 2022, and what a year it has been!

After almost a year of planning, with countless hours of scouting fresh talent to represent Yamatai, back and forth with art designers to get the right design and multiple final track touch-ups we can finally introduce the 20 track monster the 'Genesis VA'.

This VA includes lots of amazing upcoming talent in the Drum & Bass scene all of who have their own unique sound and style. Featuring artists who have released on Delta 9, Engage Audio, Program, Forbidden Frequencies, 4 Corners, Sinful Maze and Incurzion Audio we have a very very talented bunch of artists on this VA.

To make the thank you even better for the support this year the 'Genesis' VA is a free download with two release dates, starting on December the 16th and then the final release on January 6th.

I would personally like to thank all the artists involved in this huge project and for being so cooperative, also a shout out to Trigo Designs for whipping up such a beautiful album cover but also a massive thank you to R3IDY [R3 Masters] for being patient, and getting these tracks sounding incredible.

I am super excited to finally share this project with you, and I can't wait to see what you think :)

‘Jiří Volek a.k.a. Wallhack from Ostrava, Czech Republic is a D&B DJ and producer. Instead of blood, he has the essence of music and love for DnB in his veins.’

Releasing primarily on Sinful Maze and featuring on our Genesis VA, Wallhack is a force to be reckoned with. The Surditas EP is his best work yet, focusing heavily on the dark, techy vibes on every track. Jiri has absolutely smashed this release and we are over the moon to finally have him showcase his talent on the label with an EP.

4 monsterous tracks are featured. One featuring the boss man at Sinful Maze (Meph) and 3 other clinical cuts. All of which demonstrate excellent production techniques and understanding.

In a single second, the resulting soundwave would liquefy their fleshy bodies, rend the alloyed construction of their laboratory, and heave solid earth into novel formations upon the back of its undulating waveshape. It is certain that any who came later to gaze upon such a site would marvel at the destruction caused therein, in awe of the TRANSIENT ECHOES permanently carved in stone.

MEPH makes an explosive EATBRAIN debut with TRANSIENT ECHOES, an EP featuring four tracks made in collaboration with artists including Notequal, Wallhack, and IO as he leads the latest batch of new EATBRAIN talent to the fore of the label’s horde. Within, MEPH delivers percussive sequences and growling basslines of cosmic significance as he and his collaborators sate the horde’s ravenous hunger for novel means of sonic destruction.

I know it didn’t work out in the end, and honestly, it hurts a bit. Still, I feel like this is one of the best things I’ve ever created.

Working on a remix for this legendary track by Rido & Counterstrike was a massive challenge and my absolute main focus. I poured everything I had into this tune. My goal was to approach the original with maximum respect—keeping the vibe while adding a piece of myself.

I fully respect the decision not to release it officially, but it would be a shame to keep this one hidden.

Rido & Counterstrike - Let It Roll (Wallhack Remix)

In 2022, with the continuous moving forward and urge to be better, Wallhack managed to publish the freebie 'Strangers' on SINFUL MAZE along with the latest 'Soke', collab 'Noise Generator' with Absu on their 'Connection EP' on Hanzom Music and single release 'Memories' as part of the SINFUL MAZE 'Outer Operators LP'.
Right in January 2023, Wallhack is sending out his first foreign release, joining UK-based Yamatai Records with his track 'Focus' followed by his debut Surditas EP' under the same stable.

When I start a new project I never know what direction it will take and every track is one big experiment for me. But I always grab something that could be it and in the end I create something that I have a connection and feelings for. 

 The ears are the basis of how we perceive music, but we perceive music with our whole body.  Because when we like something our body reacts to it.
And that's what connects us all.
