Setting up the head gear, his hands shake at the possibilities he projects. With proper controls, he can reprogram his brain with this. But should he? For now it's only a pocket dimension, so all interactions are merely observational in nature. It should be good enough to keep it that way. However, in the wrong hands, this could be scaled up to a real doorway into one's own mind, and the implications of such a paradox are too daunting to run full tilt with its development for him. Cautiously he dials in the frequency. And opens the window.

Their next dive had a different target. Instead of peering into another dimension, this time they went about inventing one. Walking up to any idea that seemed as if it might go in the direction of better understanding- how they were where they were. And they would stop short of it. Observing foreseeable outcomes.
