When you think of The Human League, one of the first things that will come into your mind is electro pop and these guys are the godfathers of the scene. With a career spanning over 30 years; featuring four Top 10 albums and eight Top 10 singles in the UK as well as two US Number 1 singles and sold 20 million records worldwide, the group aren’t short of success. This is not a surprise for a group who were famously described by David Bowie in 1979 as “the sound of the future”, and indeed they were once called The Future. Even today the accolade still keeps pouring in, from the new generation of synth-driven pop artists such as La Roux and Little Boots, to international megastar and pop artist of the moment Lady Gaga.

After finishing a successful tour across Europe and a number of festivals dates scheduled for this summer, the Human League will return with a fantastic new a single called ‘Sky’. The track is taken from their 9th studio album ‘Credo’, the group’s first record in 10 years.  Sky’ paints a picture every bit as evocative as your favourite acoustic troubadour and shows what a great songwriter lead vocalist Philip Oakey is. The single is out on 25th July and will feature mixes from Plastic Plates, Fusty Delights, The Hacker and Martin Brodin.

Off the back of her standout signature performance at London’s Wireless  Festival on July 3rd, Wall Of Sound announce Hurricane Dub, a special edition version of Grace Jones’ seminal return to form album of 2008, due for release 5th September 2011

Her first album since 1989’s Bulletproof Heart, Hurricane, a masterpiece record was supported by a major international tour, receiving overwhelming praise from audiences and critics alike. The dub version of the album brings a new, dark dynamic to her signature vocals and crashing bass lines.

An icon of our time, for the artwork of Hurricane Dub, Grace has once again teamed up with her once creative partner, Jean-Paul Goude, to deliver a striking cover image, wearing a trade mark Philip Treacy hat.

Starz Angels have decided to prepare you for the end by their  
promotional single “THIS IS THE E.N.D”

Starz Angels (composed of K-ees and Le kid) is rising Parisian Electro
Progressive Dj duo. Thanks to their energetic and extravagant live
performances, they have rocked the tectonic plates of countless  
countries around the world with their six mash ups compilations.

Clearly influenced by the likes of Afrojack, Hardwell, R3hab and Dada  
Life – just to name a few– Starz Angels have joined forces with the legendary
UK label, Wall of Sound, in anticipation of the up-and-coming  
apocalypse...

In their introductory promo track they send this message "If it's the  
E.N.D. of the world, then what are we waiting for?!!"

THIS IS THE E.N.D’s promotional release is expected to be the 21th of  
December 2012. It will be followed by an exclusive show in Las Vegas on the  
30th of December, 2012, and if we make it through the winter, we will enjoy  
their official debut single sometime this Spring...
