Before becoming an electronic music producer, Jérémie Herreman was a classically trained musician. At 18 years old, and after years at a conservatory playing piano, Jérémie discovered his love of music production and electronic music.
Addicted to the freedom and self-expression electronic music provides, Jérémie hasn’t stopped composing. Jérémie has had a wide-ranging career, producing his own signature tracks, collaborating with other musicians, and has even worked on short films and commercials. But « Boulevards » is Jérémie’s first officially released EP and it is both energetic and enlightening — a true techno
journey. The EP features intense percussive lines, transcendental drops, and heady mystic vocals. The EP asserts a strong sound identity where the listener can truly feel the artist’s years of classical training on full display.
You will find four different tracks included on this EP. The titular track « Boulevards » is all contrast and nuance — developing towards an epiphany of sound. It starts with a deep and intense beat, with cymbals leaving the listener in a trance-like state. Angelic voices haunt us and leave space for uncompromising, incisive synths. Between darkness and neon mental projections, this colorful track will bring everyone to the dancefloor!

Born in southern Brazil, Caike lived most of his youth under the musical influence of countless artists, such as: Gorillaz, Eric Prydz, ABBA, Daft Punk, James Brown, Ray Charles, Kraftwerk, others. In 2015, after listening to many influences of dance music, he decided to buy his first pair of CDJ’s 200 and practice the art of djing. In less than 2 months, Caike was already playing at his first party at a club in his hometown. From there on, he became an active member of his local community, seeking to promote the electronic scene in the region and absorbing experience from older and already known artists of the local scene. Although he loves playing at nightclubs and events, his love of music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. Taking his first steps as a music producer, Caike has been developing and finding several ways to express himself musically, which is possible to be heard through his profile on Spotify: Caike(BR). Currently, the DJ is based in Sydney - Australia, and continues taking his steps and performing for the most diverse clubs and labels in the Australian city. For him, playing those tracks that make you tap your feet and close your eyes to feel it, regardless of gender, rhythm or style, are the factors that motivate him to continue working on what he likes the most. Recently, the artist reached the top3 best releases of the genre melodic techno on Beatport, through his EP called Dreamer, released by Fluxo Records (BRA). This success led the artist to be among great artists, such as Yotto, Stephan Jolk [Label: Afterlife - GER], Aidan Sokol [Label: Space Yacht - USA], Jonathan Kaspar [Label: Kompakt - GER].

Outer Space Oasis imprint continues to carve out its own special niche in the underground world with a new EP from the Walls of Arctica duo this time. It features two original tracks and a Dub Edit delivered by Eleven of July that suggest these exciting artists are all set to blow up the dance floors.

The Finnish duo is adaptable to any setting, from squats to vast outdoor raves to warehouses and intimate basements. Working subtle sounds and deep emotions into their originals, this EP proves that Walls of Arctica is a mindful duo with a considered and cerebral sound. It's a main act duo and one that makes a lasting impact once it gets under your skin.

Sideways is first and is seven suburb minutes of powerful melodic notes and rumbling progressive elements which combines energic atmospheres around its core. The synths roam and meander with a dreamy air of their own signature.

The Right Time is busier, with silky synths riding up and down the scale as sci-fi effects and smeared chords flesh out the already punchy kicks and drums. It's one that takes you deep into the night with a real sense of melodic color.

Eleven Of July's Dub Edit on Sideways keeps you on edge with its nervy chords dangling above darker drums. It's suspenseful and the sort of edit to really get you in a trance with its grand visions. In simple words it is just another masterfully melodic tune that is dreamy and zoned out, layered with lush chords and gentle thundering claps that bring a sense of narrative.

This is an exquisite EP stuffed with emotion and one that proves Walls of Arctica as being a master of progressive melody.
