It might still be freezing out and the new year has just started but I'm already getting ready for 2024 festival season! Let's all beat the cold and bypass seasonal depression with an early warm-up for summertime outdoor goodness!

This mix kick things off with some slower 120 sludgy-ness cranking it up with some world bass all the way up to 140 for some deep dubstep goodness. And to end it in style, I'm turning it up to 11 with some fast paced dnb and jungle action! I've sprinkled in a couple of my tracks in the mix but in true Wally fashion, the bass and vocals are performed live!

DJing and producing since 2003, Wally is a Montreal based artist that blends musical styles and integrates live instruments with electronic performance to connect genres, eras and origins. From dub to jungle, juke to UKG, metal to dubstep, no two sets are the same. Expect dark yet energetic beats oozing with deep sub bass.

In 2006, Wally organized Montreal's first dubstep oriented weekly, establishing the foundation for a now thriving scene. Forward Music Montreal hosted wide-range of artists over its existence including, Von D, Plastician, Synkro, Deekline, JFB, Submerse and Spor.

As of summer 2020, Wally joined Bassix Sound System. On top of resident dj duties, they also create audio, video and photo archives wherever the collective is present.

Whether it's during their production streams on Twich or via their dj classes with at risk youth, Wally is passionate about sharing their knowledge and breaking down barriers to the electronic music scene.
