The Crux of the Bisquit

Formerly a drummer / half a$$ keyboardist up until I became disabled and switched my focus to composition. Most of my influences are from the Prog Rock genre, but I do have an odd fondness for 80's synth pop. Rush, Yes, Tull, UK, Zappa, ELP, and Spock's Beard along with various bits of fusion stuff made up the bulk of my record collection back in the day. I write instrumental music mainly because, 1; I can't sing (can carry a tune but I sound like a giant nose)and 2; where I am located now I don't know a lot of other musicians. I love odd metered music and I write in 5, 7, 11, 13 etc. quite often. Enjoying Soundcloud immensely, I prefer music heard as the artist intended as opposed to how some exec thinks it should sound. Hope you dig my stuff...
