This big room bomb combines the signature sounds of multi-million streamer Kryder, DGRACE and the high-energy productions of Dario Nunez who continues to be one of Toolroom Trax’s highest performers this year. Kryder’s unique take on big room dance music has been influential over the last decade with releases on a who’s who of heavyweight labels such as Sony, Warner, Atlantic, Armada and Anjuna, racking up millions of streams worldwide and remixing seminal dance hits such as Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and YORK’s 1999 anthem ‘On The Beach’. Kryder has joined forces with Spanish talents DGRACE and Dario Nunez who continues his Toolroom Trax story with his third outing on the label this year making this hotly tipped collaboration a very worthy club banger.

Black Motion are currently on an unstoppable upwards trajectory, accomplishing extraordinary things in the relatively short time that Thabo Mabogwane and Bongani Mohosana have been making music and performing together as a duo. In their home country South Africa they made it to #1 with their album ‘Ya Badimo’, which also achieved gold record sales at the end of 2016. As a live act they are simply unmissable; an explosive combination of percussion, DJing and infectious dance moves.

For these reasons and more, Defected is very proud to be releasing Black Motion’s ‘Rainbow’ on the label, a breath-taking vocal house record that really is one of a kind, featuring the gorgeous voice of a frequent collaborator of theirs, Xoli M. The record is joined by another single called ‘It’s You’ featuring Miss P, an equally stunning vocal house track that’s beautifully warm and harmonised perfectly. Black Motion’s unique energy comes to life through both productions. Making up the EP are two versions of ‘Rainbow’ by house heroes DJ Spen & Michele Chiavarini, injecting a more direct ‘house’ attitude with 4/4 beats and synths. Only a master like Spen could be trusted to reinvent an untouchable track like this with such blinding results.
