Wallysburg took shape in the Spring of 2017 in Tampa, Florida when high school friends Charlie Davis and Doug Lanza teamed up with twin brothers Patrick and Drew Alexander to bring their catalogues of writing and harmoniously different musical styles together. Having been compared to Maroon 5 and a polished MGMT, Wallysburg combines pop centric vocals with the modern blend of electronic sounds and rock guitar. After a year-long writing and recording process mostly done in Davis’ home studio, the band released their self-produced debut EP “Joyharbour". In March of 2019, after opening for lovelytheband, Wallysburg announced the upcoming release of their second EP, set for later that year.
