Walter Alienson: Vortex

Cerca de 4000 millones de años atrás, la inestabilidad del Planeta V obligó a Walter a escapar hacia el planeta tierra. Desde entonces con cada alineación planetaria aparece esporádicamente junto a la banda de "humanos": La Versión Extendida de las Cosas.

El último evento de actividad Walteriana rastreado, es el de un vortex de espacio-tiempo que rodeaba la tierra, el cual absorbió su nave y ocasionó que Walter viajara en el tiempo hasta una década diferente a la actual. Mientras se dedicaba a reparar los daños causados en su nave, Walter decidió utilizar la tecnología que encontró en esa época para componer música y dejar un registro de su existencia.

Su nuevo EP Vortex es el resultado de las experiencias vividas en esa década.

Too Alien for earth, too human for outer space

Nearly 4 billion years ago, the instability of Planet V forced Walter to migrate to planet earth. Since then with each planetary alignment he appears sporadically with the "humans" music band: La Versión Extendida de las Cosas.

Last tracked event of Walterian activity, is about a space-time vortex that surrounds the earth, which absorbed his spaceship and caused Walter to travel in time to a different decade from our current one. While he was working to repair the damage caused to his spaceship, Walter decided to use the technology he found at that time to compose music and leave a record of its existence.

His new EP Vortex is the result of the experiences lived in that period.

‘Neon Lines’ is a brand new synthwave collaboration for 2021, via 1981, between Costa Rican composer/producer Walter Alienson, British singer-songwriter/remixer Minute Taker (Erasure, Yazoo), & US mixing engineer Matt Aslanian (Jessie Frye, Timecop1983).  After meeting in an online synthwave fan group, they joined forces remotely to create this irresistibly nostalgic synth-pop song that explores how the retrowave movement brings like-minded people from all over the world together in their shared love of all things 80s... “we dream tonight in neon lines”.
