Harry was not only part of our very first ride on La Barca in September this year but he is also the first one who gifts us with a beautiful vinyl mixtape. We are more than honored to have you on board and couldn't imagine a better musical journey to gracefully end the year together.

"While digging through my record collection for this mix I was imagining La Barca crossing the waters around Berlin in a golden, yet moody autumn scenery, the last sun rays lighting up the leaves while from distance you can see people moving and gathering around the chimney that’s illuminating the inside of the boat. This could be the soundtrack for one of those days. I hope you can relate and enjoy!"

What I wish for the new year is...... that we realize how much effort it takes to be at peace with each other. That starts with me, so there's work to do this year! Yes!
I spontaneously had something to record again today and felt like making myself happy with rich beats and sounds. On that note .... lets dance, have a great new year!

"I believe that the suffering or the bad memories are as important as the good memories and good experiences. If you sort of can imagine life as being 99% of the time quite linear and most of the time you are neither in a state of happiness nor sadness. And then let's say at 1% of the time you experience moments of either very crystallized happiness or crystallized sadness or moments of depression. 
And I believe these crystallized moments are very potent. And for me, it's mostly these crystallized moments of melancholy, which are more inspirational to me. So in a strange way they become quite beautiful in their own way. Music that is sad, melancholic or depressing is in a kind of perverse way more uplifting. I find happy music most of the time quite depressing, if it's just mindless party music. It's particularly because it has no spirituality behind it. Largely speaking, I am the kind of person that responds more to melancholia and that makes me feel good."
