Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.

In our second music journey we’ve got some amazing ancient Greek Lyra recordings (God Orpheus favorite music organ) and we’ve invited five quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. For our second EP we’ve got some superb recordings of Ancient Greek Lyra by Theodoros Koumartzis. The end result is purely magic as we travel from France to Greece and Serbia with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Da Iguana, Dest, Dio S, Estray and P A N are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Jamaica meets Baltimore in this first in a series of collaborations between David Marston and Life on Planets, the LOP duo linked up with Marston after finding common ground in their music philosophy. This first single titled Treegossip is an instrumental track that combines a minimal and elegant guitar melody with electronic bass and disco drums leaning towards a more 80s vibe; a departure from Life on Planets largely vocal productions.

On the one side there is the Zindagi, a Hindustani word of Persian origin which means ‘life’. For Buddhist people this is the endless cycle of personal reincarnations, each characterised by individual choices resulting in joy and suffering. According to that ancient culture, each choice we make marks the path to the next reincarnation. On the other hand there is the Nirvana, which is the freedom from that endless cycle, the extinction of individual passion, hatred, and delusion: finding the peace of soul and rejecting the concept of self.
The delicate equilibrium between selfness and its rejection was the inspiring force for @katabtu to produce his ethereal EP. This comprises two original tracks titled Nirvana and Zindagi, accompanied
by three powerful remixes by @danbaymusic, @ackssek, and @jati_div.
Katabtu is part of a music collective named ‘@kollektiv-liebe’, whose purpose is raising funds for social projects by means of musical events and releases. Such a valuable and selfless decision taken by the collective resonate with the theme of the Nirvana EP, and to the importance of individual choices. Just like they affect the cycle of reincarnations in the Buddhist culture, daily individual choices affect our immediate future, and the future of our societies. A chain of hardly predictable events is activated every moment. Thus, every moment we live and act altruistically, we have the chance to care about others, about nature, about the world we live in. Mind small choices, tame the
self. Doing so, Zindagi and Nirvana may meet in the quotidianity.

The path to a better world will never be the path of least resistance.

Rebellion der Träumer has long gained a reputation far beyond Berlin’s city limits as a series of events that encourages its guests to dream, while taking concrete steps for a richer, more cooperative mutual existence. After four years of bringing fresh musical impulses to the music scene of Berlin, Rebellion der Träumer has now grown into a record label and presents its first release - a Various Artist package titled “Utopia”.
It consists of nine colourful tracks representing the distinctly rich and hypnotic Rebellion sound. This compilation is carefully curated to represent different styles that refuse to be confined within any borders of today’s dance music subgenres and includes unique productions from prolific producers Bernstein, Jacob Groening, Ben Böhmer, Niju, Ninze, GYRL, Schattenspiel, Zigan Aldi and Gottlieb Scheppert. The EP will initially be available exclusively on beatport on December 1st, 2017, with a later release hitting all stores on December 14th.
