Expect nothing less than full force big room beats of an epic proportion as Dutch party-starters Bassjackers and EDM duo Saberz bring their debut collaboration to Smash The House with ‘Lose It.’

Bassjackers and Tony Junior join forces on this repurposed rendition of Alphaville’s 1984 synth-pop classic ‘Forever Young’.

The lyrics to Alphaville’s original have been recycled a huge number of times, with one of the most notable being Mr. Hudson’s take on the classic melody on Jay-Z’s ‘Young Forever’. This time however, Bassjackers and Tony Junior display Dutch excellence and take a new route by using hardstyle and big room influence to manufacture a new and exciting outlook on the timeless original.

Bassjackers, a producer and DJ duo from The Netherlands, have been turning heads in the industry since the release of their 2011 breakthrough hit ‘Mush Mush’, which was picked up and released by Tiësto and his label Musical Freedom. Aside from this however, the pair convey a unique and refreshing image via their chalk and cheese personas. Marlon Flohr, who is the DJ, is known mostly for his energetic and often wild stage presence, whereas Ralph van Hilst, the producer, is known for being cool, calm and collected.

Tony Junior, who is also Dutch, is one of the most recognisable faces in the industry. This is partly down to the rock and roll appearance he displays – the long hair and tattoos add a certain edge to his aesthetic style. Tony Junior broke on to the scene via a plethora of huge collaborations with the likes of Steve Aoki, Tiësto and Kura. Ever since then, the Dutch selector has never looked back, with massively successful releases on Spinnin’, Dim Mak and Musical Freedom.
